Very Solid Beautiful Convertible - Safest On The Road — I have now owned two of these Mercedes E 320 Convertibles - best Convertible I know of - solid, built like a tank, beautiful styling and durability. The only weak point I know of is the engine wiring harness - mine had to be replaced after 93,000 miles and this part was not what i expect from Mercedes quality - otherwise I think any newer model like the CLK can't touch the E 320

Pros: styling, handling, durability of engine and drivetrain and the overall car - a classic

Cons: Engine wiring harness has brittle plastic insulation - will need replacement

E420 1995 Mercedes — Performance & handling is excellent; On the freeway I get 25 miles to the gallon; Problem is cost of ownership; The parts are very expensive, emission parts such as the Throtle Actuator is $1,200 new that does not include the cost of labor; so you need to shop on the internet for one that is rebuilt or used and they all go out in this model. The radiators go out on this car and again the fan clutch is an expensive item. They never made replacement ignition wire sets for this model, do not take it to a dealer the wiring alone at the dealer is about $700 not including labor and plugs; get the after market wiring for about $300(Bosch); Break jobs are very expensive on this model; electrical issues are fairly common such as the attenna mast or relay switch in the dash along with fuses. As the car gets older you need to adjust the shift linkage (bushing). If you have a big pocket book to keep the car up this car is great otherwise look for something else.

Pros: Handling & Performance

Cons: Expensive To Maintain

Best Car I Ever Had — In town gas mileage-22-24 mpg, and on the road mileage 28-32. Wonderful. Comfortable, quiet. Average cost of ownership. Easy to maintain and no major problems. I love to drive this car! Very pleased with all aspects of car.

Pros: Luxury at a great value

Cons: Only holds 4 people

W124 E-class — *Performance – Not as a rocket, but good *Build Quality – Does not need any major repairs; if anything needs to be replaced, you do it and forget about it at all *Appearance – Old outer look but very luxurious inside *Cost of Ownership – 13l per 100km, no maintenance *Fun Factor – You get it to serve, not the opposite. No matter your need it will drive you there in comfort!

Pros: Build unlike any ather.

Cons: Old design, but not functionality.

My 1995 E220 Cabriolet — This car was almost perfect accept that the engine was only a 2,2 litre with 150 bhp. I loved the color and it lloked grat with the black leather interior and the chrome details that i mounted on. If this car had been a 320 I would have keept it because the only thing that i missed was the sound of a 6 or 8 cylinder engine.

Pros: It looked awsome and was great to drive.

Cons: The sound of a 4 cylinder engine

Great Car — good off the line, torque in 3000 rpm range, power band prime at 60-65 mph in 3rd gear.

Very Comfortable But Not Overly Flashy — Very solid car, handles very nicely and is quite comfortable. The thing is so big it's sort of like driving a boat.

Pros: Good handling, feels classy

Cons: Average mpgs... I get about twenty five

Luxury Sedan. — I got this car so I would have something other than a motorcycle. It was too much plush for me. Handled just like one would expect. Had a strange gas pedal. Went fast, was ultra reliable.

Pros: Nice car.  Fast.  Most reliable car I've ever had.

Cons: Too much jelly, not enough road feel.

Smooth Mercedes — I had the 2.2 litre engine. Slower than a 1.8 liter Toyota Corolla. Solid car. Extremely reliable engine. Apart from the slow-ass engine, the car was perfect.

Pros: Looks.  Comfort. Low maintenance.  Cheap parts (if u know where to go).

Cons: Needs a powerful engine, 3.2 litre should be minimum.
