Sickid's Review — I absolutely love my 1995 Honda Del Sol. It's a little 2 seater 1.6L 4cyl. V-tec that is a blast to drive. Mine is black on a black and red interior and looks good all the time. The 4cyl. engine packs a lot of power for its size, it has 160 horses but only 111 torque. If you ask me it would be nice to have a little more torque but none the less it's still pretty quick. The car handles beautifully and sticks to the road well with its low center of gravity. Being a Honda I'm glad to say that i haven't had to do a lot of repairs on it. As long as i keep everything up on it like oil changes and fluids it doesn't have any problems. The car gets great gas mileage, it has a 10.5 gallon tank that will last me 350 to 400 miles if i don't run the car hard. It's a fun and exciting car to drive and would be a blast for anyone.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: If you get the chance... BUY ONE, Maybe Two!!!

Cons: The only thing i don't like is the limited trunk space.

You Can Get This Guy For Cheap But The Power Will Greatly Dissappoint Without Mods. — Performance - Handling, needs more power. Build Quality - Very reliable. next to no repairs for its <200k miles. Appearance - Love the Targa top and its small wheelbase Cost or Ownership - gas mileage, maintenance Fun Factor - Could be faster but handles Great

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive through canyons.

Cons: It's a "Del Slo"

Buy One If You Have The Chance. — except for when you want to take 3 or 4 people places this car is amazing! It has incredible gas mileage and it has a removable targa top to for hot sunny days. The engine is pretty small though so don't expect to take it drag racing stock.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great handleing and gas mileage.

Cons: not for families.

A Lot Of Fun Especially With A Bigger Engine Or Turbos. — I had the low model Del Sol so when it came to acceleration I was always left wanting more. With suspension upgrades it was pretty nimble in the corners. This car was a honda so it was super cheap and easy to maintain. The car was really fun especially on summer days when you could remove the roof and store it in the trunk. Another favorite of mine was the rear window that rolled down.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great beach cruiser.

Cons: 2 seater

Great Weekend Warrior. — New motor give it's a boost in acceleration and the handling it not too bad for a convertible. Build quality is mediocre, but the appearance is unique. Cost of ownership is next to nothing, and the it's an incredible to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Convertible

Cons: 2 Doors

My 1995 Del Sol — I owned a new 1994 del Sol VTEC for 3 years. I loved it! When I wanted to get rid of my Explorer, I searched for the perfect "new" del Sol. I love it! The acceleration is excellent, it turns on a dime, looks great, fun, fun, fun! The trunk is huge - not something most people expect from a small car. Very low to the ground. Handles ike a charm. Great gas mileage. Easy to wash - the top of the car is easy to get to, even for me at 5'2".

Pros: Fun, fun, fun!  Sporty, drives great, you don't have to haul a bunch of people around...

Cons: Nothing!
