Make Sure You Pay Attention To The Problems. If It Has Cooling System Problems, Look Into Head Gaskt — Its no luxury car, but the lil buggars cheap to fix, cheap with gas, reliable, and pretty quick for a 4cl. The cars did have premayture head gasket problems, which is the cause for related future problems such as rough idle, and cooling system failure. Other than that, handling is amazing, does 120mph with ease, hardcore cornering, and overall is a great family car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great handling, and pretty snappy.

Cons: Premature head gasket failure.

Neon — I recieved it as a gift from a family friend and drove it for about a month before the head gasket went out. Upon working on the car i have also replaced the rings and bearings and redoing the valves and almost a whole motor rebuild that has become quite expensive but it will be a lot better in the long run.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Manual Trans

Cons: Paint faded

I Would Recomend It To Anyone — Performance i had the engine overhaul to 0.050 oversized pistons i have an aem cold air intake a pacesetter exhuast replaced the transmission with wider ratio automatic one and I i replaced my strutes with monroe senatrack struts. the body has minor rust and minor hail damage and i'm workingon changingthe interior from a tan colour to black and blue. and it gets 5 hors of driving from full to empty on a tank of gas. and th car handles bicely and is really run to drive in the winter and mess around in parkng lots

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its real fun and affordable

Cons: if you don'tlike sport compacts

The Green Machine — Was a fun car with a 3.0 motor swap but i didnt own it long enugh to realy enjoy it. it ran well and had some good get up and go but sadly it was totaled. The interior was nice and the overall look of the body begged to be worked on. was planing a wings west wide body kit, enkei arashi rims and toyo performance tires.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good handleing, functional, nice pick up

Cons: Transmission was slow, Fans shorted out, and way to common on the street

95 Neon — I have had Neons in the past. There fun little cars. Theres lots of mods you can do to a Neon to get alot of git up and go out of her. Extremely easy to work on. Great beginners car if you are just learning on your own how to work on cars. This particular neon is my beater car. I had a previous neon that was my baby. But unfortunately some idiot ran a light and got me in a intersection leaving the car unfixable. I have a new baby now and thats my Jeep.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Beats any Toyota, Honda or Nissan.

Cons: Rust is taking over...:(

Perfect For Autocross And Rally Cross. — The ACR (American Club Racer) comes with a stock 150 hp 2.0 litre DOHC engine, all wheel disc brakes, low gear ratio transmission, front frescas to cool brakes, koni adjustable shocks, front and rear sway bar, weight reducted chasis, ACR aluminum alloy wheels, tach, no governor, racing syle steering, dome on hood and an optional nitro yellow-green paint job. The best part is the value has not depriciated due to its rareness (only 800 made)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Show room car ready to race!

Cons: If it;s not the ACR don't look at it.

I Wouldnt Buy Another — build quality, I tell ya. when I crashed that sucker into a wall.. gotta admit. I didnt die. Sure was lucky. That neon was lucky. As for the rest. I doubt it woulda made it. The car had good handling. Hugged corners. Had no spunk though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handling is good

Cons: its a throw-a-way-car

1995 Dodge Neon 2 Door — It was a good first car. Pretty slow though. Terrible acceleration. Fun to drive though cause its pretty low. Not too bad on gas either. My paint started chipping off though cause it was this awkward purple grey colour. I did have a sweet sound system :)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive

Cons: Slow
