My First 4x4 — This is my first vehicle. I love it, couldn't asking for anything more. This truck has gotten me through thick and thin. With its 5.7 L throttle body Vortec engine this truck can take off, off the line. This truck has a ton of power and great towing capibility. Great offroading ability too. I bought this truck for about $4,000 and couldn't ask for a better truck. Sure its needed its fair share of repairs, but all used cars do. What I like about this truck is how easy it is to work inside the hood, without the clutter of computers and big airfilters. Basicly a simple engine. Put new nascar plugs and wires in it and runs great. Mapping sensor, ERG Valve, throttle body gasket and 02 sensor have also been replaced. New performance air filter and new fan belt. All new brakes all around (rotors and drums). Cut the parking brake out. 4 wheel drive works great, only wish i add electric 4 wheel drive so I don't have to have the truck in neutral to put into different 4 wheel drive options. All in all this truck is a great truck and i would recommend it to any first time truck buyers. Chevy is #1!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great transmission, long lasting, easy to work with, 4x4 capabilities.

Cons: Poor gas mileage, no skid plates, bolt on front header tends to break out on these model years.

Great Truck. If You Treat It Good It'll Treat You The Same Way — I've had my truck for 8 years this october and have had nothing but good luck with it. Anything that has gone on it was due to me beating on it. Love my chevy and plan on keeping it even when i get another one. Need the extra cab and 4 wheel

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Built chevy tough

    Cons: Nothing. Love my truck

Nice Truck, I'll Have To Get Over Those Burn Holes In My Seat! — 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500. 350 CID Small Block Chevrolet. (5.7 Liter) 148,000 miles Still goin' strong. Right now all it has is headers on it. A bit loud, hoping to put some flowmasters on it. The body could use some work and the motor leaks a bit, but overall it isn't a bad truck. The main reason I bought it is to tow cars.

    Pros: 350 Small Block Chevrolet

Cons: Seat has burn holes from the previous owner in the seat.

The Toughest Truck — This truck was built to last just not for me to have. I traded my firebird for this truck and i think it was one of the best trades i ever did. The truck lasted through one of the worst hail storms i have ever seen. Then i ran it into a gaurd rail at 80 mph and it still ran a drove.

    Pros: wouldnt die

    Cons: had to sell

365,000 K1500 — This truck has 365,000 miles on it and still runs like a top. These trucks are rock solid. And if you can move past the 11 mpg, this truck will never let you down. I know it hasn't let me down. At least not yet haha.

Pros: Where do I begin? This truck is so solid all around.

    Cons: The gas mileage.
