Fun To Drive But It Can Be Costly. — A all around awsome car to drive.Plenty of power, handles in turns like no tomarrow thanks to the Bavarian sport package. I bought the car used dirt cheap because of an exaust leak and it needed tires.Sweet deal for $2800 after parts and my own labor.

Owner for 0 years, 2 months

Miles Driven per Year:110

Pros: Fun car on windy back roads, plenty of power and grip

Cons: Can be costly on repaires

My 95 318ti — this is a great car in my opinion. 4cyl 1.8L in-line 4 100-105 hp. BMW only made these from 95-99 due to poor sales numbers. this is my first car that my uncle gave to me because my cousin didn't like it anymore and he had driven it to and from Ohio State Uni. i really like it because its a manual and this was the car that i learned how to drive a manual trans.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fuel efficent, fun on the twisties

Cons: bigger engined BMW owner hating on my car

For What It Is, Its Cheap To Buy, Reasonably Cheap To Maintain, Great Build Quality — Very smooth 6 cylinder engine, quick for a big car, handles well but in the wet the back can slip out, best built car iv ever owned, had it for 6 years and as good as the day i brought it. Very good looking car and looks way more money than it is, it has no rattles even with a 15" sub and speaker upgrade. Interior once hoovered looks like its done 0 miles and its all very well layed out with great driving position. Considering iv done 60,000 miles in it and it had done 60,000 before i owned it, iv done a clutch window regulator, lower arm bushes, water pump and standard servicing so not too expencive, but last owners had all the privious work regually done at a BMW main daeler. Its quite fun to drive bit more if its damp for rear wheel fun and it sounds lovely iv now got 18" wheels and its not cheap on tyres.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great for long journeys, sounds fantastic will always put a smile on Your face

Cons: If your young insurence will hurt, the fuel bill will too if you have a heavy right foot

Very nice hatchback, very good first car. Just wish it had better suspension setup in the back, the E30 semi-trailling system was outdated back in the 90s... Id pick this over TDis and Civics anyday because of the superior building quality (not meaning to hate or anything, its just a fact).
