Shame They Stopped Making Them, then Brought Out The Vectra,oh Dear. — It's got it all looks, performance from the turbocharged engine, and very comfy.Excellent fuel economy, handles like a wheelbarrow though.Starts first time everytime(that's down mainly to the mechanic who keeps it in tiptop condition,me). And it's got a sunroof.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Bird puller

Cons: Their aren't any

Good Engine, Bad Build — Easy run with a good engine but typically shabby build quality from Vauxhall. As the CD model it had plenty of toys and was a reliable hard working car. I would buy another, shame about the badge. Nice to look at.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Isuzu engine

Cons: Its a Vauxhall

A Good Solid Runabout Thats Not Very Fast — Would have been a good car back in its day, but wasn't as good to have a Cavalier again after the Mondeo's. Made a good mile cruncher, good on fuel, low on performance - nearly ran out of road trying to get a G-Tec meter to register 60 in one night :-) Was made worse after it got broken into, but was a good reliable car, even with little oil or water in the engine.

Pros: Save's £££ in fuel

Cons: Annoy's with the lack of power.

Dan's Opinion — I did like this car. Good quality, electric windows, remote central locking (retro-fitted). 1.8 engine was good and it went well! It was the first car I ever owned that wasn't rusty! These were a good car in their time!

Pros: Not bad to look at, quick enough, not a rot box!

Cons: seem a bit dated inside, but apart from that, pretty good car!

If Don't Want To Spend Loads On Parts / M.o.t / Services This Car Is For You. — I can do all the repairs / maintenance / service myself, Is cheap on all the parts, and when I crash it ( very rarely these days!!) It costs next to nothing to rebuild it, I can Mod or De-Modify it, And most importantly you can thrash the hell out of it with out it going BANG!! Also it is 110%+ reliable.

Pros: as said, everything for this car is cheap, and can play with it till it bores you.

Cons: As is a 1994/95 reg plate, And is a 2.0 injection! Tends to drink fuel.

Dull Inspiration Indiffrent To Drive — had a couple of these a 2.0i petrol and a 1.7td diesel, diesel had 200,000 miles on the clock and took me all the way to somerset without any problems at all very reliable isuzu engine though very underpowered and the petrol engine always broke down even if you just washed it, eventully the head gasket went at 120,000

Pros: cheap to run, easy to own, reliable diesels

Cons: everything else
