Se-r — You are looking at a semi-rare breed of car. The 1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R is a well known "pocket rocket" among Nissan enthusiasts. This particular SE-R has 234,000 original miles on it's clock and will be receving a ne engine (SR20DE) in February of 2010.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: peppy and quick

Cons: 5th gear popout

Hey Its A Car. — My car is 16 years old, it gets me from point A, to Point B. Its not going to win any Fashion shows, or car events. The car has good reliability, and the only major repair ive had to do it on it was the Alternator going at 120,000. The car averages about 270 miles per fill up, on its small tank. With the light on it costs about 23.00 to fill up. This is a good car to do modding on, as its cheap to find parts for. The only real downers to this car, was at about 90,000 miles the lining in the roof started falling off, and the interior really showed its age.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its inexpensive to maintain and put gas in

Cons: Maintence is needed about every 15,000 miles or less

Dont Buy It If You Want Any Kind Of Performance From It. Buy The Se-r Model — Acceleration isn't bad but def slow. Handlings not good either. It is good based upon not taking it to the shop many times. Japenese cars are durable. Style sucks. Great gas mileage, with little maintenance. Not very fun to drive but Se-r model would def be real fun.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Amazing gas mileage. Lasts over 200,000 miles

Cons: Slow, not much space. locks break easily.

Solid Performer — I owned this car for 120K miles without a problem until some drunk driver hit me. Fun to drive, great gas mileage. Solid performer for its time. Not much to look at but it was a great car throughout college.

Pros: fun to drive

Cons: none really

I Love My Nissan, And I'm Looking Forward To My Next One — The torque That I get is amazing for the size and power output of the motor. The SR20DE is an amazingly well built and extremely bullet proof engine. My only slight problem with my Sentra, is that the gear ratio is very close, this is Great for acceleration but poor on fuel (28 city, 31 highway) economy. That, however, is a VERY same issue that I know comes with that great acceleration and torque. I am currently trying to save up money to get a low mileage JDM Bluebird SR20 to get more power and better building ability and place it into to a better kept 1994 Sentra and hopefully get around 280-350 whp out of her. I want to accomplish this while keeping the car relatively stock looking (outside of different rims, lowering, and a TASTEFUL looking lip kit) and hopefully not becoming a huge headache or money pit. That is just a little about my car and hopes for it, if you like to chat about my car or anything else (even drop some ideas my way), please feel free to drop me a line.

Pros: Great torque and acceleration

Cons: Less than great MPG

Da Sentra — Middle of the road. As an 18 year old male, living mostly on his own. Gas in Southern California is 3.85 a gallon and if I drive 65 on the highway I get about 34 miles to the gallon. On the streets I get about 28-29 If I dont gun it off the red light. 4 Banger so dont expect anything from the hood. Fuel pump w/ install was $104 , brakes were $75, 4 New Tires $201 w/install. Keep the oil and the air filter changed (less than 30 bucks every 3 months) And you'll have a car like mine with 140,000 miles on it and still running. Doesnt look good, Doesnt drive well. But gets you from point A to point B faster than my NIkes and mpg is better than average. Back Seat Sucks! Too Small, Says only 550 lbs but we've fit 910lbs haha. KBB says its worth 1200 I bought it for $2 , yup only 2 smackers, if you want to know the story then just message me. To go 300 miles with 5 friends and gear in the trunk its costs 6 bucks a person.

Pros: Gas Mileage, Cheap Maintenance , Fits 5 , Power Seatbelts (No tickets)

Cons: Looks, Power, Handling, Transmission. No Power Anything (except Seatbelts)

Great Commuter Car — This car was a gift from B who owed me $100, wile it did look ugly it was an amazing car. It ran like a champ, got killer gas mileage and had comfy seats. I did have to replace the alternator though. Eventually the DS seat belt slider went out. This car met an end before it's time when it was struck by a stray tire that destroyed the hood, radiator, ac condencer and took out the power steering.

Pros: gas milage

Cons: power

Decent For A To B Driving. — With automatic transmission, the acceleration is grueling. Resistant to shift. Lots of engine noise, and wind noise! Gas mileage is pretty good, it's a 13 gallon tank, and with cruise control it's even better. I can drive about 90 miles (at 70/75 mph) and only use 1/5 of a tank. When it was new, it wasn't a bad looking car. Really boxy, looks better with slightly larger wheels...

Pros: Great gas mileage, not a cop-magnet, good first car.

Cons: Less than desirable performance, sounds like a lawn mower.
