Feeling Special — the best case of mercedes ever made-not only cheap and economical with lpg but also sportive -agressive -durable and in short a manly machine. This is my 12th car may be one of the oldest but honestly saying better than all the previous including wauxhall 2.0 and opel gt ...Cars today are nearly the same in size and in shape- for example if you have a focus or a toyota you can see and meet many other of them in the streets and car parks BUT it is not easy to see such classic cars like w124 so it helps you fell previliged and special.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: sentimental

Cons: an other mercedes

Better Than A Damn Honda — has strong aceleration, good braking, and sporty handling. everything is extremely smooth, especially the aceleration. for a 1994 it is in great shape with 150K miles. intertior and exterior disigned well. it is pretty expensive to own, gas milage is alright, take premium fuel. I enjoy driving this car!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its a mercedes

Cons: none

Great Car For A Diyer, If Depending On A Shop They'll Probably Ream You — W124 chassis models are great cars. Certain ones only had one issue, which was wire harness deterioration. This effected sensors and triggered the CEL check engine light also effected the EA electronic accelerator. Some other nuisances was the ASR or traction control. I didn't have these issues with my car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's a Mercedes!

Cons: Expense of parts

Amazing — Actually it is a 300ce-24 not 320 about 217hp from 0-100 in 7.9...max speed 245km/h..Da car is fantastic but it had much gear problems and da cruise control waz a bit clunky but i admit da car is fun to drive and prestigious and in da same time cheap and fuel saver....

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Speedy

Cons: Appearance is a bit dull

Would Highly Recommend This Gem. — great car, I have owned 18 cars and held onto this one over the years dispite my husband. Its a head turner and the largest convertible you can buy. Handles great although there is some play in the steering. The car acclerates like a new car. Basic maintenance has me at 100K for this 1994 MB E320 Convertible.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Quality, Quality, Quality

Cons: play in steering wheel

Life It Too Short For Low-quality Cars — My E 320 T Sportline, nicknamed "Königstiger" (= bengal tiger). Huge, spacious, fast, beautiful, reliable, comfortable, equipped with a great bunch of options. Best of all: It doesn't have four eyes! Here's the last 'real' Mercedes-Benz you could buy without hesitation.

Pros: The W124 series was the most successful Mercedes-Benz ever - go figure.

Cons: gas consumption could be less, dashboard is as impractical as hideous, no suitable cupholders available throughout the Western hemisphere.

Drive One, You'll End Up Owning One. — I have owned my share of cars. This is my 3rd Mercedes. Big car but has the power to move. Smooth, quiet, luxury at its finest. I don't care what a new car might offer. You cannot talk me out of my E420, no way...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Well Engineered

Cons: NONE

W124 Was Legendary For It's Reliability And Strong Solid Build Quality. — I love this car, because it was my first ride :) It was one of the last cars from Mercedes Benz that was without that much electronics as nowadays. With no traction control and rear wheel drive, it was incredible lot of fun to drive and drift around ;) I'll never forget about this car...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable, great car with minimum of electronics (less to go wrong there).

Cons: This particular one had LPG system fitted, which was a breaking down quite often.
