1994 Lincoln Towncar Cartier — its my favorite car so far, had about 4 or 5 others. the lincoln performs beautifully, but burns a little oil. its a beauty, with chrome trim, leather interior, custom sound, aftermarket radio, smooth as silk suspension, and a great sound when you punch it. lovely ride. i recommend it to all who appreciate power and luxary. Pros: Smooth handeling, nice interior, good sound Cons: Burns oil, parts are expensive. |

It Is Ok For An American Luxury Car. — its a really smooth ride, with amazing power steering that can only be matched by the extreme power boasted from its fuel injected v8 engine. you are sitting in the lap of luxury when you rest on the blue Italian leather interior and wood-grained trim. the trunk is very large and can come in handy on camping trips and long-distance travel. The back and front seats are extremely roomy and have enough space to fit 6 people (3 in the front, 3 in the back) comfortably. The gas use is pretty economical for a 2+ ton luxury sedan, getting about 17/23 mpg cty/hwy respectively. Pros: The power is intense, and can get up to speed very quickly for the size and weight of the car. The interior, and stereo system (all stock) are of the highest quality. The power steering is so responsive and smooth you can comfortably control the vehicle with only your index finger. The brakes are very smooth and perfectly tuned for easy, smooth stopping. Cons: The acceleration is a little touchy and is extremely responsive, which, for young drivers, can use up alot of gasoline with really quick acceleration, it takes some getting used to. |

Powerful, Roomy, And Classy Looking Sedan. — i owned this car for a year and the only reason i got rid of it was because i felt it was too nice of a car for me! this should tell you something about these lincolns. they were the end of an era, marking the last american cars built body-on-frame. these are still built today, but probably wont be for long. my 1994 town car had good get up and go, and great lower end power and torque, coming from the tried and true ford 4.6 liter v-8 engine. my lincoln came factory equipped with duel exhaust and a higher rear end ratio which gave it great power on the interstate as well as from a stand still. it was basically like owning a ford police package crown victoria with power leather seats and alloy wheels! it had a very nice electronic controlled air bag, air-ride, suspension, which gave it the classic american full size ride you expect, but very respectable handling as well. the lincoln was very responsive for being such a big car. all i can say was that it was a pleasure to own, and im sure down the road from now, i will regret selling it much more so than i do now.
Pros:
great ride and power. classic american v-8 sedan with all of the luxury you could want.
Cons:
electronic air-ride suspension can be expensive to fix if necessary. also prone to |

It's A Lemonzine — The Lincoln Town Car is a very nice used car for the purposes we got it for. It is a very large comfortable family car. My only complaint is the mileage of this vehicle. A reliable car, with a a nice style too. Recently removed the air ride suspension after it failed the third time, and replaced it with a set of static springs. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Big size, lots of room, comforfable. Cons: Gas consumption, parking |
