Lxgs300 — I bought this car totaled for $550, and put $2500 in. For being totaled, it runs well, and the engine is great. 2jz ge twin cam 24 valve straight 6 supra motor. brakes are good, handling is great. It looks good, very classy. Gas mileage is ok. Overall, it's my first car, and I love her very much.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: comfort

Cons: mileage

Best Four Door Car I've Owned — Build quality is great! Car is really comfortable, reliable, and looks great. No complaints. Gas mileage is ok...could be better for a 6 cylinder. Wish I had a turbo...but it will come soon. Accelerates decently. It was designed more for comfort and luxury. Its the Japanese Cadillac to me. I won't part with this one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliability, looks, comfort

Cons: Nothing

I Love It And Hate It All At The Same Time. — Appearance:A BEAUTY!!! It makes heads turn... Maintenance: A HASSLE!! Cost of Ownership:$3000 to buy it. $250 for exhaust leak. $300 for tune up. $100 for inspection. Gas gauge doesnt work. Check Engine Light on. EGR Valve needs to be replaced, cost: $400. Rough idling. Shakes a whole lot, i may need an engine mount.Oh and the battery just died on me.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Its a beautiful car, love that everything is power e.g. widows, sun roof.

Cons: U should have a savings account specifically for the maintenance of that car

Great Luxurious Sedan — The Lexus GS300 is a great sedan with lots of luxury. The GS has a 3.0 liter in-line 6 motor called the 2JZ-GE (the same engine as a toyota MK IV, but n/a) This motor produced 226 hp with 220 lbs of torque. At the time of its release in 1994 the car's msrp was about $37,000. In 1996 the car's transmission was changed to a 5-speed automatic transmission rather than a 4-speed which offered better gas millage and a closer gear ratio.

Pros: Lots of luxury options, spacious, comfortable, great motor

Cons: 4-speed automatic transmission, cup holder breaks to easily, 12-disk cd changer is in the trunk
