Grocery Getter No More — Recently did an exhaust, suspension, wheel and tire upgrade to the original family rig we had. Love it even more now. It's a great ride, and does very well off road, even with the smallish suspension upgrade. Pros: Power, nice meats, throaty sound. Cons: Again, gas mileage sucks, but since I'm not commuting in it, who cares? |

Great First Car — my jeep had the inline 6 and the all time four wheel drive. you couldn't spin the wheels on it, but it was great in the snow, and acceleration was excellent. Pros: lots of room, off road fun, go anywhere vehicle Cons: no highway gears got me 18 mpg highway without oversized tires or a lift |

Has Gotten Me Where I've Wanted To Go, Enoyably, period. — I would buy another Jeep in a heartbeat. I love the good old 318. It's torquey enough, and with a few bolt -on tweaks, has surprised more than a few "sports car" drivers! It most recently towed a 5000 lb trailer 3000 miles thru mountains, monsoons and all this with 180,000 miles on it, with nary a hiccup. Owner for 3 years, 6 months Miles Driven per Year:40,000 Pros: comfort, reliability, performance. Cons: thirsty, poor AC |

Great Suv, Very Dependable Vehicle — We have a 1993 jeep grand cherokee with over 400,00 miles on it. We have very little in maintenance costs. It is very good in rain and snow. We no longer own this vehicle, but we know it has been a very dependable vehicle for someone else. The engine and transmission were never worked on or replaced. Owner for 8 years, 4 months Miles Driven per Year:50,000 Cons: none |

My Baby — I love this vhicle, It accelerates good, but takes a little to get up to speed. IT doesn't or hasn't had any major repairs done to it. The interior is amazing its fully loaded with leather seats. It is great on gas. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Everything. Cons: Nothing |
1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Review
CantorNikolaos says:
The 1990s Grand Cherkee was a very good vehicle. In my opinion its not quite as good as the Cherokee or the Explorer, but its more of a family car than the Cherokee which is more compact and rugged. Both the Cherokee and its larger counterpart are available with the rugged and reliable 4.0L Inline 6 cyulinder engine. I have never driven this vehicle in snow or off-road, so I comment on its capability versus the Explorer. There are still many of these vehicles around and I wouldnt be afraid to buy one. vs1994 Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV
