Best Chevy Truck Made — It's a Z71. It's an excellent truck, even with 208K miles on it. The only thing wrong with it at the moment is the rust on the hood, below the doors and in the bed. Performance- acceleration is great for a 1/2 ton, braking is good, handling is great Build Quality- excellent, it's needed a few repairs over the years, but i'm glad to keep it running well. Appearance- interior is nice, not in perfect condition, but still ok, exterior is the best body style Chevy has done, mine has rust in places Cost of Ownership- mileage is about 15-16MPG, not super, but if you want something with balls, that's what you get. maintenance is normal for a vehicle with 200K+ miles on it Fun Factor- very fun to drive if you like trucks. with a little lift and some nice tires it's a beast.

Pros: Awesome truck for any application

Cons: none

Haul Anything And Everything You Want To And Do It Until It Rusts Away — Awesome vehicle, I can haul and tow anything I want to and I've got over 235k miles on it now. No complaints, original engine, 3rd transmission. Transmissions are VERY costly and don't seem to last too long, that's the biggest gripe. That and the 14MPG.

Pros: Haul everything, never worry about the engine

Cons: Bring a lot of cash for gas and incase the tranny goes

1994 C1500 5.0l V8 Tbi 2wd Club Cab — This has been an excellent truck. Very reliable. Mine has about 193,100 miles on it and is still running strong. Plenty of torque, but low horsepower.

Owner for 0 years, 10 months

Miles Driven per Year:5,000

Pros: Acceleration (torque), Cruise Control, Bench Seats, and Reliability

Cons: Fuel Economy (12mpg), Feels too sluggish for how small it is, not enough horsepower.

Aint Never Gonna Die! — I got this truck for a winter beater and I couldnt have chosen better. It WILL go through ANYTHING! Mine has 489,000 miles on the body and still looks this good!!!!!!! Little over 100,000 on the engine. Sooooo reliable.

Pros: VERY SAFE! And very tough.

Cons: Gas mileage.

Pros: people notice you, its higher up so you can see everything... and people move out your way lol

Cons: can't fit in most parking ramps or carwashes and gets poor gas mileage! haah

It's Been Great Until Lately. — It's great for camping and usually handles well on the highway. My husband uses it for his roofing job and it hauls well. Lots of upkeep issues lately. Only other major repair was a cracked radiator. Still unsure how that happened.

Decent Work Truck — Its a pretty good truck. It has 239,000 miles on it, but it still runs just fine. I have to get new tires on it though, but that shouldn't be too bad. It doesn't have a radio in it right now, but I can deal without one. It has the 4.3L V6 and a 5 speed manual transmission. I would rather have the manual because automatics are just boring and it makes it more fun to drive with a manual. Plus its easier to tow with a manual in my opinion. (EDIT): Just added a 1" throttle body spacer and it gets better fuel economy and a slight power increase.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The 5 speed, and decent amount of power

Cons: Wish it was extended cab and 4 wheel drive

Works Great Just Dont Beat On It To Hard — fuel injection system is kinda dissapointing, other than that motor is amazing, 4wd takes some time to engage due to a temp sensor in the front axle but a 100 part will fix that, other than that this truck is amazing, its been through hell and back offroad and has come back asking for more

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: engine is almost unbreakable

Cons: transmission is kinda weak but not bad
