Fun Old Family Wagon — My mom bought this car with a little over 80,000 miles on it about ten years ago. The frost plug went and she drove home as far as possible till the motor was freezing up. we put in new plug and it lost power but still runs. We pulled campers while it ran red line hot and accelerator on the floor for 25 miles on the highway one way multiple times. We sold it to my aunt who took it to Chicago and Kentucky and i bought it back with 177,000 miles on it. It starts on first time and takes me wherever needed. Makes a good second family car. Performance is weak but thats just the build of the cars. Its a gas hog but i love driving it. only car all my friends can fit in and i can haul steel and what not in the back and it rides smooth. Very pleased with this car. For People interested in older explorers i would definantly recommend. they expensive to drive but the longevity is worth it.

Pros: fun to drive and completly reliable

Cons: fuel mileage and rust.

Ford Explorer — I LOVE MY EXPLODER!!!!! It's a 4x4 with a 5 speed manual. What else do you need? It's got a 4.0 ltr so it's not too weak to pull boats, but it won't suck gas down like a hawg. Bigger tires and a good exhaust will make this thing a beast!

Pros: Manual, 4wd, plenty of "trunk space" :D, it's MINE

Cons: Rust, paint chips, dents, high center of gravity (tippy)

My Beater — it's a beater but it runs, it keeps goin. the four wheel drive works, it is red. the gas milage isnt great but i cant complain, it gets me from point a to point b. the brakes are touch and go but it's always an adventure to drive. it holds about 9 people if we really want to pack in and more if i dont have anything in the trunk.

Pros: it justs keeps on goin

Cons: i cant complain

93 Ford Explorer — I loved this truck, solid off road and in the snow. plus the gas mileage was great for an suv with about 20 mpg average. I had 212,000 miles on this vehicle before i sold it and never had a problem with it, ford really knows how to build trucks and i can careless what anybody says about ford, i think their vehicles are unstoppable.

Pros: Unstoppable in snow and off roading

Cons: can't think of one at the moment..

A Great Hauling Vehicle. — It may have a lower MPG rating than that of a sedan, but on the highway or in town it gets an amazing amount of gas for the mileage.

Pros: Plenty of seating and hauling capabilities.

Cons: The fuel rating on the highway for mine is around 27 MPG, in town around 23MPG.

Daily Driver Junior Year Of Highshcool To June 2007 — I loved this SUV only straight six yeah I know laugh think aqua teen. Got me through many a snow storm with out any incidence and through college despite lack of good maitienence. Found memories of high school and college. Always ran even sub zero temps. Had remote start and lock

Pros: 4 wheel drive both high and low push button.  Remote start and lock, six cylinder easy on gas, fold down rear seats, place to sleep in back, good high view, good tires and grip

Cons: Cost extra for tune ups, oil changes, always seemed to need, muffle after 3 years of use, rusting, driver side door latch went bad had to use passamger side to enter.

Tough And Very Reliable! Wouldn't Trade Her For The World! (unless I Really Had To) — The overall car itself is unbelievable! My uncle that works for Wingards in Elton told me about it and said it was well maintained and was owned by a former mechanic. The interior is in great shape and hardly has any wear or tear ( i can honestly say there is none). The trim package is an XLT, unfor. not the Eddie Bauer edition though. This model has power everything including a sunroof! The exterior is red and has a little body rust up around the wheel wells and around the gas tank lid. The handling, performance and overall impression is very good, as I previously stated, I would not trade her in for anything! My Explorer is a great car and will turn 1 this year July (14 in car years) .

Pros: Of all the cars that I have ( a total of 3) had, I love this one the most! I have always wanted an Explorer and when my uncle told me that he could get me one, I was really excited. I paid 1200 bucks for it and have had to put very little money in it. I have only had to replace that battery and the air intake unit, which was a total of about 90 bucks. She gets cleaned out every week and washed about every other week (weather permiting).

Cons: She has a little bit of body rust, but other wise she runs like a top and has not let me down yet.
