Avoid The 1993's, They Had Many Problems — OK it did handle very well and had that nice 6 cylinder engine but it was unreliable, ate gasoline and the AC sucked. The newer versions of this series where much MUCH better.

Pros: Nice handling

Cons: Very unreliable, poor gas mileage, cheaply built.

Cheap, Ferocious Speed — Didn't have it long, but this car was a monster on the street. Not sure what all was done to it, but easily the fastest car I've ever owned . . . yet. Even with an automatic, turned low 13s in the quarter.

Pros: Mind-melting power

Cons: Automatic, no back seat

High Performance Equals High Maintenance — Complete engine and transmission overhall after less than 15,000 miles of ownership. Be weary of purchasing any Z28 with over100,000 miles. That being said, I still love this car. She turns heads for sure, but not without breaking your heart and bank account in the process. Specs: 5.7 Liter 350 Small Block V8, 6 Speed Manual Transmission.

Pros: Beautiful design and powerful motor.

Cons: High mileage spells disaster. You'll never get out what you put into this ride.

Nice For A V-6 — Car is nice for the year and miles its got. For a v-6 its very quick and runs perfect. Never had a problem with it. It's good for my first car until i get my next camaro which will be a SS

Pros: Fast for a v-6, looks good too

Cons: it's a v-6

Car Is Great. — I just bought the car but it is a 6 speed and is very strong and fast. It looks pretty good but needs a little work and I plan on fixing it up real nice.

Fast/fun/fuel Eater. I Would Only Buy One With The T56 Six-speed. — After owning 3 Third Generation Z28's, I wanted to try out the Fourth Gen. I had a 1991 Z28 with the L98, but only came with a 4L60 automatic, that I found Burned up easy, like the 700R4's. So I wanted a 5.7 with a manual. The Answer, My 1993, Hardtop with the T56. I wanted T-Tops, but the only other Z28 in my price range was an Automatic. So I decided to Trade the T-Tops, for the Six-Speed, and I love it.

Pros: Finally a Z28, that will blow the doors off The Mustang. The optional Six-Speed. Chevy did away with all the different Engine Configurations.

Cons: There isn't much Difference between the Z28, and the Base Camaro. In the '82-'92, You Knew A Z28, with it's Aggressive Looks. They were Sharp cars.I think Chevy should of kept the Ground Effects and Spoilers on the Z28, Instead of putting them on the few RS Camaro's.

My Z28 Is Fast, Handles Great, And Is A Blast To Drive. — After owning three of the 3rd Gen Z28's, I decided to try a 4th Gen. The car has 100,000+ miles on it, but it's still fast as Hell. What sold me on the car was the T56, six speed tranny. Combine the manual transmission and the LT1, and you have a Corvette in a Camaro body. The gas mileage isn't great, but I get about 15mpg, and always use Premium. The handling of the car is Incredible, it sticks to the road like glue.

Pros: Fast, Good-Looking, and Durable. The 5.7 matched up with the six-speed, gives the car balls.I Love the cockpit, you slip into the seat.

Cons: You can't really work on it your-self. As far as a cam, head-work, and headers, you'd most likely have to have a spped-shop do it.
