Great — This is my old Ford Pickup truck. Dynomax headers, flowmaster exhaust, K&N filter kit. I've had it for 10 years now and it still runs strong with 175,00 miles on it. Some problems I have with it is that it is old and requires constant maintenance. Most recently the stereo that has been in it for 16 years went out on me. Overall, a great truck that has served me well and never left me stranded.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: reliability

    Cons: its a truck

Can't Go Wrong — the body is rusting but its still looks pretty sexy its my second favorite body style of ford pick ups the 4x4 works really good im glad ford still used lock outs on there front ends in the 90's unlike the others

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: lock outs!

Cons: tranny seems to be touchy!

F150 = Good — i had to replace oil pan gasket, gas tanks and passenger window motor. other than that, its awesome. oh and i get 13 mpg (city) with my tires (i have the 302 5.0L v8). its not fast but it'll pull.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: its a truck, you can do anything with it.

Cons: its a truck, your gas mileage sucks.

A Perfect Example Of What A Truck Should Be. — The 351w has a moderate hp, but massive low end torque, which is what you want in any practical pick-up. It's been in the family since '92 and having been driven on crappy northern roads and never seeing a day in a garage, it's held up very well, having just rolled over 256K as of 8-13-09. Engine still runs strong as ever, 400/351w is ford's best small block and completely bullet proof. I am now a fan of the ford Automatic overdrive trans, but since im going in excess of 80 fairly often, i sometimes wish i had that 5th gear. Mileage bites, but then again, back in 92, gas was about a buck a gallon. For it being a relatively new EFI system on an old iron block at the time, it's given me almost no grief considering its been left in the elements nearly everyday since it rolled out of the factory. It's been a daily driver for years. as for the fun factor- it's not exactly a hot rod, its a truck that with full tanks and the driver on board is pushing nearly 7000 lbs gvw. still, it hugs the road and is very predictable. How ever, if you've seen me drive, you know how much i put it through it's paces. Given the opportunity, I'd get another model like this in a heart beat, but only with the 351.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Ought right dependable

Cons: As with any older truck, mileage.

Amazing — Shanequa is the name of my truck. I love my truck! Its black with silver down the side. I've had my truck for about 4 years. It'll burnout. My tranny is going out but if you know how to drive it, it shouldnt be a problem.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It is a Phil truck. I can give it heck and she'll keep giving.

Cons: My trany is starting to go out :(

My Beast — so far this truck has been a pretty good truck, i have had to do work on it but that is expected with buying a used vehicle. it has a 302 v8. even though it is a small v8 it still moves that truck pretty quick, with a 0-60 time oof about 6.3 secounds. right now im gettin the rest of the leaks takin care of, i have an oil leak and power steering. so far ive got the rear brakes completely redone, new shifter assembly and linkage, new ball joints and radius arm bushings, leaf springs and mounts, shocks, spark plugs and wires, thermostat and new exhuast system. so ive done quite a bit of work but im slowly getting closer to gettin everything done. gas mileage isnt very good at 15-17mpg on a good day. but other wise it is pretty fun to drive. it handles pretty well and can do some pretty cool things. ive raced it some and have only been beaten by a f-250 super duty with a 5.4 trition. ive taken out monty carlos and multiple other low end sprts cars, so its a pretty impressive little truck.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: the speed and handling

    Cons: gas milage

Excellent For Hauling Stuff To And Fro, And All In All A Great Reliable Tough Truck. — My truck is possible one of the manliest vehicles i see on the road. despite a few mantinence issues, it has run well for more than a year. very strong/sturdy and rugid. I love it. the only thing i hate about it is its gas mileage and acceleration.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

    Pros: rugid, manly,reliable, and useful.

Cons: gas mileage, gas mileage, gas mileage.
