What People Carriers Should Be. — if they were in production now id have another, i loved mine. the original people carrier and still the best, comfortable, practical and sturdy, loads of space including leg space in the back, with a boot that can carry more than an umbrella when all the seats are in use, good visibility and for a large car handled well with a tight turning circle ( hard knot pass proves this) and for a car of its time, powerful with good fuel economy.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: a proper family car, the one where you can put the kids, their friends all the extra bits that go with them and still have great comfort.

Cons: they dont make it any more.

A Very Roomy Car With One Of The Best Driving Positions Of Any Car I Have Owned — Besides having one of the most comfortable and best driving positions of any car I have owned, this car is very solid and roomy. The particular model I have is an SW8 Turbo. Once your foot is into it, it takes off like a rocket. The ride with the famous 8 valve Peugeot shocks is very comfortable. The handling is very predictable.

Pros: Ride, handling, seat comfort, amount of room inside this car is amazing! The fuel economy is quite good when driven sensibly.

Cons: Parts are getting quite hard to find. As you can see I need the side moldings that go on the front fenders. The transmission (the ZF 22-4) has to be serviced regularly. The 30,000 mile fluid changes that the manufacturer recommend is way too lengthy. I would recommend every 3rd oil change or 9,000 miles.
