Buy A Miata — Very fun to drive and fuel efficient. Exceptional handling and feel. Reasonably quick. Inexpensive to repair. Nicely weighted steering with good feedback. 4 wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel double wishbone suspension make for excellent handling. Buy a miata. OK? Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Gearbox Cons: Luggage Capacity |

91 Miata — Great nimble car. Not great daily driver. Cheap maintenance, and great build quality, though not hard considering the small amount of parts used in the car. Very fun to drive but lack of power can be very frustrating. two words. Pros: Handling Cons: Power |

Miatatude — the most reliable and fun car that I have owned and still own, the car has a large[enormous ]following of varied clubs with a wide and diverse vocations at 79 years old this will probably be our last year of Miata touring. p/s over the years I have added and installed many customand performance features to satisfy my ego Pros: a truly enjoyable car for all ages Cons: n/a |

The Mx-5 — The Miata in stock form leaves a lot of room for improvement. This Miata is to a point where I cannot complain. Full suspension work makes it handle like it should (in my eyes). The garrett turbo makes the car perform great. I have driven stock Miatas, and while they are fun, they just lack too much. I like knowing that my car hangs with V8s'. It is honestly like a go-kart on steroids. Pros: Quick, nimble, and cheap Cons: It is an older car. |

Rwd Lsd — It is a RWD sportscar with LSD. It weighs roughly 2000 pounds. It is a handling beast, and once it's turbo and has coilovers, will destroy all. The only downside is the build quality is typical old japanese. Rusts sort of easy. The seats are comfortable, but this is a sportscar. Overall a really fun car to drive. Pros: RWD LSD Cons: It's a little underpowered, stock. |

91 Mazda Miata, The Most Overlooked Sports Car — The Miata is one of those cars that is so much more than its spec sheet. On paper it is a little convertible with a dinky 1.6L engine that makes 100 hp on a good day. Doesn't sound to thrilling, but driving it is something I think every car person should. The uber light weight and front and rear double wishbone suspension and this car a go-kart for grown ups. This car is by far the funnest car I have driven, and I have driven alot of faster cars. This one I will hold onto forever. Pros: Handeling, fun to drive, Mazda quality Cons: Lack of power, and a cabin made for little Japanesse men. |

The Miata's First Time Special Edition — This is one of the British Racing Green Special Edition Miatas. 1991 was the first time a Special Edition (or later "Limited Edition") Miata was offered. The initial buzz over the Miata had finally worn off and this was Mazda's way of keeping the excitement going. While not an overly powerful car, the early Miata is a very satisfying and fun car to drive. Very mechanical and reassuring. You are not isolated from the workings of the vehicle, you are included in them. It's great fun and definitely a driver's car. Pros: FUN! Very sporty in the classic roadster way. Cons: Limited storage capacity. I've heard headroom can be a problem for tall drivers. |

Miata, Fun In The Sun — This is the most fun car to drive I have ever owned. It is bettere than the two Corvettes, I have had. Better handling, and better build quality. I like the older Miata because the are light, rugged, simple and easy too modify. My Honda CRX was almost has much fun, but not a convertible. Pros: Handling, quickness, quality, cannot break it, looks good Cons: Needs a little more power |

Miata — Performance: Acceleration is moderate. On par with a typical V6 sedan from the 90's. Braking and hanlding are superb. Build Quality: It has some rattles and cowl shake. Overall pretty solid though. Repair side, it has been excellent. Apperance: It could use some masculinity. Cost of Ownership. Expensive to buy (relatively speaking) but cheap to operate. Low maintenance and around 38-40mpg on premium. Around 34mpg on 87 octane. (Ignition timing advance when running premium) Fun Factor: The #1 reason to buy. It's not that fast but incredibly fun to drive. (It's handles like a go cart) Pros: Zoom Zoom Cons: Bang Bang (Darn Michigan Roads) |

I Still Miss This Car — Engine is willing but still anemic, which makes it fun to try to go fast. Although they are famous for being very reliable I had to repair mine a lot, although it only left me stranded once. Build quality is above4 average. I was able to autocross it without any problems ( not bad for a 12 year old car). Probably the most fun car that I've ever owned. The cockpit might give some claustrophobia though. Pros: Tough, Fun, Convertible, Fun, Easy to work on , cheap , Fun Cons: Too small, flexy chasis, relatively slow. |
