Had It, Loved It, Rebuilt It, Babied It, Wrecked It. — I loved the car, and I put a whole lot of work into it. You know suspention, steering, ignition, body, interior, electrical......etc. It was kind of abused when I got it. It was worth every minute of the work.....Don't assume that the other cars are going to stop when they are supposed to.....thats what took my baby away.

Pros: fast as....yeah it's fast,  excellent handling, acceleration is great, good solid int., built like a rock, easy to work on.

Cons: Haven't really found any, very solid car.

Great Reliable Car, Fun And Peppy! — This particular model, the 318is is rather rare. Only about 15,000 were imported into the United States in total...less than the E30 M3! Who know's how many are in running order today. Specs: DOHC Inline - 4 136 hp @ 6000 rpm 127 lb ft @ 4600 rpm Dimensions (nominal) : 84mm/3.31" bore x 3.19" stroke Displacement : 1796 cc

Pros: Great on gas. Very nimble. Extremely light car...I'd say a practical version of a Miata, with space to seat 4 COMFORTABLY!

Cons: This is the almost the lightest 318is you can get, which means less sound deadening...which means you get more road noise!!

Couldn't Have Asked For Anything Better — I was lucky enough to get this car when I was the youthful age of 19. Power steering, full electrics pack, fairly economical, alloys, what more could I have asked for? Steering was perhaps a little woolly, but the car was designed for motorway cruising, not darting nimbly around corners.

Pros: Power steering, comfortable ride, fast enough, great for cruising on the motorway

Cons: Insurance was a killer, expensive to service

Best Car I Ever Owned — I had the 85' model without powersteering, bought as a project and rebuilt. With chrome bumpers. Drove like a dream!

Pros: Good handling and fast. Well built

Cons: If you used the power and it would drink

You Can't Be Off The Line With A Bmw. — A 6 cylinder with enough punch to get you wherever you want with some old school German style. Legendary BMW handling and symphony! That's a real car, without any assistance. You need to be a real man to drive it. ;-)

Very Reliable — I have owend my 318IS for around 8 months now. I am extreamly impressed with the reliablity,Speed,Accel, and Saftey, what i am most impressed with is the cars reaction time and accel off the line. When at high speeds the cars reaction time and stablity is incredible, I have swam through traffic on the highway 10 at 130mph and could not ask for better performance out of a 4 speed 1.8

Owner for 8 years, 8 months

    Pros: Weight,Handling,Reaction time,Stablity

Cons: Back end tends to slip on extreamly sharp turns

A Good, Sporty Family Car — Overall I like the E30 style and performance of the E30 that's made BMW the company they are today. 1991 was the last year of the E30 chassis in the sedan/coupe version but the E30's were one of the most popular models BMW ever built.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Nice interior, easy to upgrade

Cons: Improved 1.8l engine a bit sluggish

A Very Good Car — It is a 91' 320i, it has a great accelaration, no ABS, and very good handling on corners, it needed some repairs i bought it recently, it has a nice appearance just needs some rims and spoiler on the exterior, its interior is comfy. its gas mileage is nice except when i hit the gas. And yes it is deffinetly fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: it has a very good performance

Cons: it is an old car

Gorgeous And Dependable — Stunning car thats got the performance and dependability to go with it. Already has 200k miles and its got 200k more left in it. Really fun to drive with the all wheel drive performance for inclement weather, but acceleration and cornering of a sports car.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tight handling, stunning good looks, all wheel drive capabilities.

Cons: 180city 25 highawy gas mileage
