Bmw E30 Convertible. — Its a 1990 but that option wasn't available, this thing sounds awesome, especially with the roof down. Kick down isnt that bad for a 20 year old car and once u get past 5000 rpm, its like an extra surge of power is released and u can feel the kick as it pulls you back into your seat and you leave most modern cars in the rear view mirror. The build quality is perfect after all it is a BMW, the interior feels solid. I have upgraded the wheels to 17 inch alpinas from the 15 inch BBS alloys, personaly i thnk it looks much better now. Suprisingly fuel economy is good, averaging around 30 mpg in town. I have been quoted £500 for a service (from BMW), the one let down with owning BMWs, they are expensive to service. Finally it is a great car to drive, especially with the roof down cruising in 5th with the smooth straight six rasping behind you. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Ths sound, the fact its a BMW.

Cons: Service costs.

Fun Beginner Car For Rwd — You definitely get that feeling of the car rotating around your hips when it lets go in the wet. Its so manageable. I have a lowering kit and Bilstien sport shock on it so it rides like an M car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling balance

Cons: Build quality, cost of matinence

Buy One — drives lovely and really fun when kicks out breaks smooth and feels safe when booting it, comfortable on long or short journeys more economical than an m3 but not as much fun as one lol buy or test drive to find out

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: rear wheel drive lol

Cons: still in spray shop

My First Car ( Bmw E36 318is Coupe (1996) ) — This car was a 1.8 16v with 143BHP which was good for my first car. It was rear wheel drive so " Bring on the Donuts" So much fun and sounded great. Looked really nice and i loved the seats in it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: REAR WHEEL DRIVE

Cons: INSURANCE PRICES

Don't Buy One — Its a classy car, gets all the looks just none of the girls. I like it becasue I've owned it for 4 years. Its held up well, I dump way to much money into it. Its not fast, it makes amazing noises, its no race car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its one of a kind, no one else builds one like me

Cons: Only men like it

Buy One! — This car handled like a dream, it was small enough to make a U-turn in one and a half lanes, it accelerated quickly, it was a beautiful little white 325i, with a tan leather intereior, it got god mileage, it was my first REAL car...I had a bit too much fun in it one day, and I totalled it on my Dad's birthday....I was doing 45 or so around a corner, hit a jeep head on....engine came through the firewall and barely missed my legs. I climbed out of the roof and helped my friend out...then immediately started to cry. It was the coolest car, and I miss it a lot. It was small, agile, handled well, it could stop on a dime...It was an amazing little car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: there are a million reason to drive this car....

Cons: don't avoid the car, avoid Jeeps while in this car...and don't drive like an idiot.

Beemer — Ok needed a motor so got one of these, again another classic car with a stigma attached but hey I had one anyway. Rear wheel drive was fun, manual box was clunky and interior was plasticy and cheap most of the onboard computer sensors didnt work and i had to disconnect certain aspects of the computer to start the car. But hey it got me from A to B and eventually traded in for my beloved Alfa!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Badge

Cons: Interior, BMW prices for everything, the fact you need to pay a fortune for a big engine just to have a decent interior spec

Bmw318is=beautiful.music.wagon — This car sold itself. Used to see commercials back in '91, now I know the car IS the ultimate driving machine. From 75,000miles to 167,000miles in THREE years, I have put my 318is through every pace imaginable! I have had to restrain myself from turning it into a bona-fide M car...would have been too many tickets to pay!!! I am looking at an E46 four door to join it soon, need room for babyseat.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: G-forces,  balance, looks

Cons: want it to last forever
