Iconic 80's Supermini — I hate the sunroof squeak, it makes the build quality seem worse than a Saxo. The heating is poor. My final drive in the gearbox is too high, making motorways a chore. I actually find it hard to park & the spacial awareness is poor for a car so small. Pros: Fun handling, Quattroesque looks in an affordable package. Cons: Rusty prone, cramped interior, harsh ride quality |

Probally One Of The Fastest Cars On The Road — the car performance wise was unreal running a 2.0l 16v turbo charged engine an only weighing a ton it would do the quarter mile in 13 seconds an was faster than most cars on the road as for the ride it wasnt great but it really didnt matter WICKED CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: fast Cons: the comfort |

Vauxhall Nova - Cheap Rat — I've started to "rat" my nova and it's looking mean!! Rusted bonnet, satin black paint, lots of stickers..... It's only a 1.2 so performance is pretty bad but with 12 points on my licence I can't upgrade the engine.....yet! The car is easy to work on, parts are cheap and easily available and there are plenty of mods out there, so it's easy to make a nova different on a budget. only downside to these cars as far as I can see... I've had two and blown the head on both, and I don't thrash 'em either. Pros: cheap to buy, fix and insure Cons: weak engines |

None — liked the performance of the car, the styling wasn't bad either.. if felt that the car had more character than you would find in more modern cars. But the car was that unreliable that it was dangerous! It outweighed all the problems by being the quickest i've ever owned and made me feel like a kid again.. which cant be bad!! Pros: Was very quick Cons: The brakes didn't work sometimes |

Best Handling Car, Ive Ever Driven. — A good hatchback for its class, with amazing handling, will take a lot of abuse, and with the back seats down could hold a fair ammount of stuff, though limited space when the seats were up. Only let down by a slightly awkward driving position, and chavvy boy racer image. Pros: Great handling, cheap to run and good visibility. Cons: Awkward driving position, small boot for car of this type. |

Vauxhall Nova Sting By David
Handled exceptionally well, very light-weight but felt like sitting in a tin can. The fact that it was a sports edition probably helped. Build quatlity not excellent, but fine for the type of car. ... Read More

Nove 1.3 Sr, It Great Beginner. By Gareth
The Nova was the wifes first car. Although it was quite old it still ran great. A little underpowered compared to what we have owned but never the less it was a great first car. Read More
