Little Wagon — This car actually lasted me a while. I told myself that I would buy another car when it broke down and it never did. I hated it but it didn't give me any problems until finally a tree fell on it and I got a nice insurance check.

Pros: reliable, functional for the work I was doing at the time

Cons: ugly

If You Can Drive, It Can Race. If You Can Drive Well, It Probably Will Win. — Manual Tranny, Sports Coupe, 16 valve, twin cams, fun to race, body is very lightweight because of size of car. If slightly lowered, center of gravity is below ground for increased stability around tight turns. Stops well, accelerates better. If you can find one which has been babied and properly maintained but has pref. a newer/rebuilt engine in it or one from japan, this is a Great! car. Feels faster than it is due to how close you ride to the road. The seats are semi-bucketted seats, with 3 controls to adjust the seat (although they are manual, it is very comfortable). SUPER SUPER FUN FOR CANYON DRIVING/RACING, STREET RACING FOR FUN, ETC. Accelerates great, stops (especially with slotted cross drilled rotors) practically on a dime (almost). All around fun car, if body, engine and maintenance are all excellent (due to the age of the car).

Pros: Twin Cams/ Corners Excellent/ Great if Manual Tranny/ Super fun to drive/ Full sunroof

Cons: No leg room in back seat for back seat passengers/ Can be squashed easily by a big truck:( LOL

So-so.. — toyotas are built to last and have tough underchassis.. great fuel economy but only as long as the engine is well-maintained..this one was previosly -owned and was a bit high on mileage but i had a good run with it..

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: built tough..

Cons: older parts, not that fuel efficient..

1990 Toyota Corolla DX Review

I love this car, I loved my Toyota Rav 4 as well, it was a stick shift. But this car is cheap and easy to fix. Anyone can fix this car with YouTube and renting tools from local auto parts store. I replaced the transmission myself, cost 300 dollars for the replacement one, Replaced the tie rods, inner and outer, both sides for around 90 dollars total. Took about an hour to do one side. The parts are cheap, and Ive never had trouble finding them. Everything is easily accessible with the right tool. Replaced the alternator easily and for cheap. Lots of room, interior is nice, soooooooooooooo much trunk space. You could fit a cow in there. Overall I loved working on this car. Its a fun project. I drive it every day and can fix it myself. Got it for free. Woohoo
