No Abs.. No Traction Control.. Lots Of Fun — Tons of fun to drive. Picked it up for $800. KA24E, 5 speed trans. lots of rust but a strong motor. Came with a circuit sports 3 inch catback. Custom made rear lower quarter repair panels, rear left subframe rail, under hood structural support, passenger rear floor, and a minor spot on the trunk lid. Lots left to do still. With the addition of a pacesetter header theres much more low end torque. Makes holding it sideways a bit easier. Infiniti Q45 brakes up front to keep it cool coming down Mount Greylock. Plans to come : t3/t4 turbo 650cc injectors & fuel rail walbro fuel pump meth injection AMS engine rebuild Nistune ecu cobra MAF aluminum radiator Godspeed coilovers Godspeed swaybars, camber arms, toe arms, tension rods z32 rear brakes L28 oil pump limited slip diff Lots of drifting...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It'll be the only boosted SOHC KA around here.. and it weighs 2700 pounds

Cons: rust..

If I Didn't Live In The "artic Circle" I Would Be Driving This Car Every Moment, Every Day. — Fours across the board! Performance seems great until you install performance suspension and strut tower braces... now you can corner a 85 deg turn at 110 without breaking anything loose... its crazy! But as a base model, not bad. Infamous for rust in the *right spots* (frame). Easy fix if you can weld. Simple interior makes this compact seem spacious. I have a lack for cup holders in my life. This car has been transformed to girlie (as girlie as I am willing to go) so appearance will be pleasing to some, but not all. Great mileage, even with turbo set-up. Definently fun to drive!! The base would make a great beginners car, but I wouldn't suggest any upgrades for the faint hearted/inexperienced driver.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its what I've always wanted... ummm... good crash test rating (for the early 90's)

Cons: ummmmm.... if you don't like it, avoid it. lol

Awesome First Car. — I would venture to say that the 240sx is the best bang for your buck out there, if you're looking for a straight up tuner project. I got mine for a steal ($2k w/84k miles), and it already had almost all the bolt-on's I could fit. Parts were super cheap, all the maintenance was done by me (first car-ownership experience) and even though it wasn't as reliable as my current car (Lexus), I drove it extremely hard and it handled the abuse well. Plus, it was the hatchback model so I had tons of trunk space. Overall, for the amount of fun I had with the car, I'd say it was worth every penny.

Pros: Great handling, cheap parts, plenty of cargo space, decent gas mileage, loads of fun to drive.

Cons: Moderate maintenance, lots of road noise, bumpy ride, cheap interior, poor wet/snow traction.

Favorite Car I Have Ever Driven! — The acceleration/torque is excellent. 240's are quick off the line regardless of whats put into them. No matter what body style of the 240 you have its guaranteed to turn heads! Nissan 240sx are infamous for their "timing chain" problem where you can hear a very faint rattling noise coming from the engine, but besides that the car's engines are built like tanks so very reliable. I give this car a 5 out of 5 on how fun it is to drive with the rear wheel drive theres no real limit to what this car can do.

Pros: There's no reason you shouldn't want this car!

Cons: Rear-Wheel Drive if that is a problem to you

Cheap Tuner Car — Performace is 235 cubic inches of pure sport. The inline 4 stroke engine will deliver power and fuel economy. Handling is amazing because its a RWD and 4 wheel independent braking. Suspension is soft so it goes around corners easy which makes AutoX (Autocross) easy as pie. There is visually, nothing wrong with this car and its easy to maintain. The performance upgrades are easy, cheap, any anything looks good added to the car. Want to know more? Buy this car for yourself!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Super Fly!

Cons: Nothing is Hatable!

Fun Little Car For A Single Person, Get The 5 Spd And You'll Love It — Fun little car, not too much to say, bought it fairly cheap cuz I needed a good college car and this looked just right. Had a blast driving it when it worked, even though it was an automatic. The inline 4 cyl 2.4L engine was peppy as all get out and was just happy to be alive and running. Sold eventually because I wanted a 4 door car and was tired of spending money on a car that was automatic and that I knew I would eventually get rid of.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sporty and handled great, plenty of mods available, and looks awesome

Cons: Backseat pointless, fuel economy could've been better

Rwd!!! — This car is 20 years old the suspension is dead, but because it of the weight distribution and really low center of gravity it can still handle pretty good. It has naturally good handling. Right now it has 2.4L 4inline KA24E engine it has about 140HP and 145 lb.ft not a powerful engine but still a lot of fun and really reliable. Planing on swapping the engine for KA24DE and Turbo charging it. And replace the suspension of coarse.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: RWD!!! Need I say more?

Cons: The car is build for 2, the back seat is just for looks

The Sports Car That Could — Very affordable and a nice sports car for the young age. With its simplicity it is very stress free to work with. It is just that with cars these age they rust alot unless it has been rustproofed by the previous owner every year. This car is known for drifting and thats what many people buy this car for, if you choose to do that make sure you have some sort of limited slip differential or danger will happen.

Pros: It is RWD

Cons: It is known to rust alot.

S13 — I liked it for the short time i did have it. lots of fun to drift around with in the snow. i hade lots of plans for it, i sold most of te parts but kept some in hopes of owning another one i fixed the drivers side upper and lower control arm, front sway bar, front tension rod. ghetto patched the fuel line. it still needed tie rods. and it burnt oil it had a mint frame, but it had undersurface body rust

Pros: looks good, very  quick, handles great(even with worn tie rods)

Cons: rust
