1990 Rx7 13bre S5 — Im more than in love with my RX7. The pure mechanics behind the RE is so innovative. Its has 50/50 weight ratio which is perfect for the track or touge. and thats what i love about this car. Its built for what i want to do with it. heck yea

Pros: Great motor

Cons: needs a little body work

Early "mid-life Crisis" Car? — Bought this car on a whim. Totally beautiful car - loved driving it topdown around ATL. Quick enough, I suppose, but its not really about driving fast, more about cruising. Rotary engine limited the life of the car since they don't get past 150K very well. Average MPG, average quality, but that's not why you buy a convertible, is it?

Pros: Drop top styling, gets lots of looks

Cons: Not the fastest or the most efficient

You Can Do So Much With This. — There are a variety of aftermarket parts available and the car comes stock with a turbo. Can be a great drift car :)

Pros: Sporty, TURBO

Cons: Kinda Small

Pure Sports Car — The 2nd generation RX7 is an under rated car now because of its age when compared to the flag ship model the FD3S. Both models share the same design engine only difference is age and development of these two engines/cars. The series 4 Series 4 (1986–1988) was available with a naturally aspirated 108kw and turbocharged engine 135kw The series 5 (1989–1992) was released with updated cosmetics, bigger turbine housings, higher compression ratio 9.0:1, better engine management systems and a slightly better interior styling. note: In japan the turbocharged models were released N/A models were only exported to USA, Australia etc. The RX7 is well known in the motorsport world for its superior handling and its infamous engine the 13B. Its participated in drag racing events, circuit racing and now drifting.

Pros: Good engine power/response, excellent handling/balance.

Cons: Age, styling, fuel economy.

If You Buy One, You Will Eventually Buy Another. — I had a non-turbo 1988 RX-7 before this one and learned a lot in that car. The RX-7 was my 2nd & 3rd car. The look grows on you as you drive it day by day. Also these cars actually taught me how to drive well. I took one to a track day and the other to a Drift day and autocross. Favorite Mod: Suspension (KYB Shocks & Eibach Springs)

Pros: Rear Wheel Drive

Cons: MPG

9000 Rpm Rotary Powered Screamer — This is my first real sports car, and i must say it is an absolute blast to drive. Mods.... 17x8" rims, full corksport 3" exhaust, VDI (6 port) induction system wired open. Coilovers coming soon

Pros: Amazing handling, reliability is better than what people will tell you, super smooth power delivery, strong gearbox, stiff chassis

Cons: Gas mileage. lol

Its Rapid — Love it, its quick, it drifts, its got no room for anything anywhere and when driven hard uses a pounds worth of fuel every minute!

Pros: You get there quick

Cons: It costs a fortune to insure
Completely impractical
Drinks petrol, eats tires
Lethal in wet weather
