An Amazing Car — I bought my car with 332,000 on the body and motor. Paid 1.6k for the car and have hardly had to do a thing to it. The car is at it's 20 year old mark and runs like a champ. I still cream lil rice burners on the hwy. Almost all original parts and works like no other. Only issue That I have had with the car is the cloth in the interior is coming down. But come on,.. that's it. I love the body style. I screams class and power. True sleeper. I would buy another no questions asked. I plan to keep the car as long as I can.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: The power and style

Cons: hard to get the colling system stable at times.

Bmw — WICKED power out of this beast!!!! looks to kill, built like a tank. however after 20+ yrs of being drivin like nuts the gremlins start to come out which starts costing a lot of money especially when you have to go to the dealer for parts.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: POWER!

    Cons: GAS!

A Good Car For Someone With Deep Pockets — It was actually, an 89, but anywho, it was a nice car. I had 245/40/17 racing tires in the front and 275/40/17s in the rear so it stuck to the road like glue. However, it fell apart a lot and cost a lot to work on, so i finally ended up getting rid of it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: attractive exterior, comfortable interior

Cons: Price of repairs, fuel economy

Eye Catching To Spectators, Incredibly Fun For The Driver. — This car is absolutely amazing. When buying my next car I hadn't even considered a BMW. Now having bought my 535i, I'll never go back. Perfect balance between comfort, power, and style. The engine is a tune up away from running perfectly and the body just needs to be repainted. Asfor the interior, it's perfect. For a car the same age as me, and for $2200, it's in amazing condition. The i6 engine with L/100km gauge on the dash makes it easy to save gas when you need to, but push the throttle down and it flys. I've never had so much fun driving, let alone owning a car like this. To me, this car is PERFECT!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: EVERYTHING!

Cons: I can't drive it every minute of the day

Bmw E34 Six Lowest Maint. W/longevity & Performance Ever Built According To Bmw Techs — Owned 12 BMW both 6 & V8. Never another V8 but never sell the 91 535 5sp. Big Six is bulletproof, just replaced suspension, 540 17wheels and paint. Only BMW service expense every 30k. What Japanese for $4k. 535 has Performance and Handling. Most fun possible for price.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 2nd and 3rd gear, Suspension

    Cons: MPG 17/22

It's The Best Looking Best Driving Beater For The Buck. Besides The 745i Turbo. — hands down best car for the $$$ this is for the 5 speed. automatics are still cool, but not the choice for me with this car. It's the best looking best driving beater for the buck. besides the e23 745i turbo. made into a 5 speed manual @ 25lbs boost with mods (640+ RWHP) i love the pre 1994 e34 narrow nose models, they will always have curb apeel. ad a turbo your good to go. (5 speed manual)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: when you turn the bmw on it returns the favor

    Cons: none

Great When I Am Feeling Flush Otherwise Its In The Garage — I like the fact it's fully loaded with every possible toy for a car this age, i don't like the heavy full bills and the leather interior in the sunlight. Super Big powerfull and very very comfy motoring for the lazy man

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: the smile when it roars

    Cons: fuel and parts

Used To Be A Favourite For Upper Class People Of The 90's — . clean motor . fuel efficient . steady and heavy / it's hard to handle (it's not built for racing) the build is tough and heavy .full options . has some technological advancements that are unique ( rain sensor - everything electronic) . leather inerior that matches the colour of the car

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: every one asks me if it's for sale - nice sound

Cons: having automatic transmission (prefer manual)

Bmw E34 535i — I bought this car about a year ago, i get compliments all the time when people find out its a 1989. The cars performance is very good for its age and the handling is great just like all other bmw's. The power comes from the 3.5 big six churning out 218hp and 234tq and it is driven in the rear wheels. The build quality is like no other, everything in the car works except the A/c. The styling of the car stands out in a crowd and its hard to miss it. The car is a joy to drive and would definitely buy another one without any hesitation.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Seats, On board computer, Power, Handling, Looks

    Cons: Nothing.
