1989 Toyota Supra 2 dr Hatchback Review

I Just Put 1668 Miles In 3 Days In The Car And Loved How It Handles And Cruises. — I just purchased the car and drove it from Maryland to Colorado. I am in my late 40's, so my back is a bit sore, but other than that, the car is fun to drive, is peppy, and I got 23 to 25 miles per gallon. For a car that is 18 years old, it is still tight in the handling and no strange squeaks or noises. Since it is a sports car, the ride is a bit stiff, but I expected that. Very easy to keep at a specified speed, and a joy to drive for short to modest length trips.

Pros: good acceleration, tight handling, loaded with everything you can think of, easy to see out of, and shifting was still tight. Very nice styling. Got lots of compliments as I was driving across the U.S.

Cons: My lower back became sore after extended periods of driving. Gas filler on the passenger side (I'm use to it being on the driver side.  No way to open fuel door except handle by left hand side of seat. I would have put a key access on the door since I was always forgetting to pull the lever as I got out of the car.
