Good — Just bought it. Like it so far. Car is in good shape. So far everything seems to be fine. Have had to fix a few things. Not too bad. It is a fun car to drive. Would recommendto to others.

The K-17 — I love everything about this car. It has power everything. The performance of the car is ok for the typical sedan. The exhaust has seen better days so thats the first performance mod Im doing. The only thing that I had to fix was the fuel pump.(Thats right I fix my own cars). The appearance is very good for a 89. The main thing is the faded out trim that Im painting gloss black.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The JDM style

Cons: Height needs to be lowered and swayed

Reliable Solid Performance And Classic Lines. Stilling Driving After 20 Years. — I have had the 89 LX for 20 years and I still enjoy driving it. Reliable solid performance and classic lines. Never thought I would end up driving it for 20 years, but it is still fun to drive so why make a payment?

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Solid consistent performance

Cons: Air conditioner issues

1989 Honda A Great Car For The Last 20 Years (and Still Drives Like It Did When New!) — my son's first car out of college. when he moved to japan I bought it for my daughter to drive in high school and college. In 1998 I swapped my 1996 honda for the 89 cause I thought it would be more reliable for her in Atlanta. Eleven years later I am still driving the 89 accord. Except for a few things that have failed like ac, cruise it still runs great, has no rattles or squeeks, and the steering is better than any car I have ever driven. You just point the car where you want it to go and it doesnt wander at all. Amazing for a 20 year old car!! I like this car so much I am even considering a quality paint job with original paint (black with a gold fleck) I know, I know it will cost more than the car is worth in the market but I would completely restore this car (if I had the money)so a good paint job might not bust the budget.

Pros: 5 speed is peppy!  way more pep than  96 model with automatic I owned

Cons: black paint started failing at about the 10 year mark and is really bad on hood, roof & trunk

My 89 Lxi 300k And Still Going Like New! — I am the 2nd owner of this car, I met this car and its first owner back in 1992. I fell in love with it and wanted to own it since day one. Well three years ago, I was able buy it. I love it and keep it off the road in winter. I took this LXI down to the dirty south in sept 08. It got 37 mpg with the A/C on while drivin down to the ATL.

Pros: Its a Honda

Cons: surface rust in edge of the rear 1/4 panels

Honda Accord Dx 2.0 2bbl — With a 2.0 Single overhead cam engine sporting a 2 barrel carb. Manual transmission, 2 stage NOS, light weight, 17 inch Rims and Low profile tires. 35 miles to the gallon makes it affordable, and the engine can take some serious punishment. Only problem with her is she is sedan instead of a coupe.

Pros: New engine (50,000 miles) and new tranny (10,000 miles) for a car with 200,000 registered miles

Cons: 4 door sedan instead of 2 door coupe

Not Bad For A 20 Year Old Car. — For a twenty year car, it's not bad. I do need to replace some belts cuz it's squeaking a little. I'll need to replace the brakes soon. I'll probably also replace the clutch and the muffler and it should be good as new almost but it doesn't run that bad now but it does run a little rough. Nice looking car, got new wheel covers for it and it's nice. A couple very minor rust spots and a few scratches but she looks good.

Pros: Standard transmission, power and tilt steering, 4 door, and fuel efficient enough.

Cons: No power windows, locks, or air conditioning. Could be a little roomier cockpit. Could use telescopic steering wheel.

1989 Accord 2.0 Exi Aerodeck — mine was the aerodeck 2.0 exi, one of the best lookin hondas ever. with cool pop up lights and a unique estate/coupe profile, it's a future classic that will never be replicated. good on fuel, nice to drive and well equipped (cruise control, electric windows/roof, etc). shame it got nicked.

Pros: quick, good looking, reliable, cheap, comfortable, good auto 'box.

Cons: small wheels, doesnt quite know what type of car it is
