1989 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback RWDReview

Blue Stang — Get some after market suspension parts right out of the gate. I did a Kenny Brown set up(panhard bar,sub-frame contectors, koni race shocks, race springs, maxmotorsport caster camber plates, solid bushings) this help tighten up the car. 302 is fast but could be faster, letting it breath is the easiest way to do this( BBK headers, remove cat's, 2-1/2 pipe all the way out, mass air swap out). Love the Fox Body tuff looking car. Loved this car out on the track and as a kick butt street car just go play around in. Build a motor (331 stroker would be my choice) and this car would be well on it way to rippin. I miss my Blue Stang. Someday I would like to get my hands on another one, and finish what I started. Make it fast, and stick to the ground! Pros: endless posssibility for a very fast track or street car Cons: money, money, money |

1989 Red Ford Mustang Lx 5.0l V8 — I loved this car! It was extremely solid, well-built, dependable, reliable, and fast as well as fun! I owned this car for about 6-7 years before I ended up selling it (new baby...bad in winter). It rarely needed any repairs, the body was very sturdy, and gas really wasn't that bad on it. I had a lot of fun with this car, and I still miss it. Pros: Sturdy, Well-Built, Fast, Good on Gas, Reliable, Dependable, LOADS of HP!...FUN!!! Cons: It had too much power to be driven in the winter, the backend would fishtail like crazy. |

'stang — Fast, quick off the line, handles well. Beats a 2000 Camaro 6cyl. Nice with a short throw shifter and B&N shift kit. Not too many km's, only 180,000 so I don't know how they hold up once the get over 250,000 or so, if you don't crack it up before then. Pros: Muscle Cons: Not much |

Amazing Cruising Convertible — I defiantly love this car. It has a very strong 5.0L V8 engine that gets great mileage and sounds awesome at full throttle. Never needed a repair. Typical Pony Car body lines. in my opinion it has the perfect ride, steering, performance and "feel" to be one of the best muscle car cruising convertibles. Pros: everything Cons: bugs in the teeth |

1989 Mustang 5.0l — This car is ridiculously fast and fun to drive. I've had this car since I was 16, and I still get excited when I get to pull it out in the summer and drive it around with the top dropped. I get stares and jealous comments whenever I pull up in this. Pros: fast, gorgeous, reliable, and classic! Cons: interior styling |

White Horse — awesome affordable muscle car with a very nice sound if i may add. also the notch back is such a better drag racing model than its fast back counterpart, however its upgrades are endless so if you want to own one you better have a deep pocket book and not care bout the gas Pros: light weight with alot of power Cons: V-8 = low gas milage |

"lola, We Miss Thee" — So this one isn't my real baby either, but it will do. I often thought of painting my Mustang a real rich purple with sparkles in the paint. But instead I had to sell it. I miss that car. It is my favorite car I have ever owned. I will get another one someday. And finish the drag project I wanted to do with my first one. Pros: It's a Mustang dang it!!! Cons: The engine seized and I had to replace the Transmission. |

89' Mustang — really fun car to drive. My old roommate had one of these and despite being severly beaten up, it was really fun. This would be a great car for learning to drive a manual. It handles well in the summer and you are forced to powerslide around corners in the winter. you can easily maintain it yourself and get parts for it. Pros: fun Cons: no traction in winter |

My 1989 Mustang — Although this car is a 4 cyl, it still packs a good punch. It gets pretty good gas mileage for being a 4 cyl. Looks good considering it is almost 20 years old. I really like driving this car and getting it dirty with mud and dirt. But I wouldn't recommend this car since it is nearly 20 years old. I love my Mustang. Pros: Good on gas mileage. Cons: Wish it had a big V8 in it. |

Bought The Car From An Older Man Privatly, With 73,000 Miles On It. — I love how i ripped out the oridional 302 motor and put a 351 windsor, bored 30 over, roller cam, off road H pipe, pro 5.0 shifter, tinted windows, custom wheels, with a custom stereo system in the hatch. Pros: The car was spot inside and out. Cons: GAS!!! |
