The Gas Milage Is Seriously Lacking So Think Long And Hard Before You Invest In This First Gen Class — Since its an old truck, it doesn't compare to the newer models. But its a classic, straight body lines and has the all too underrated 318 under the hood which makes this truck have lots of unorthodox potential. what it needs to be a true champ is just the usual maintenance to keep it on the road and it will last as long or even longer than any new car on the road today.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it turns heads wherever you take it because its so old and rare to see still driving around

Cons: Horrible mpg

Had to put new tires on it, but its got a nice stereo and I love the car to death. Thank you gramma for the truck. I love you

Loads Of Fun. — This truck hauls ass and looks great doing it, whether you're bogging it, or driving on public roads. the 360 and 4 speed are a perfect combo, Not too mention the 5" reverse Shackle lift and the 37" tall Swampers on it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 5" Lift On 37" Swampers

Cons: The Body Damage, But Hey its a 4x4

Pure Solid Pickup — With just a V6 still has plenty of power, wish i coulda had a V8 stays going straight even going really fast on gravel. can feel the bumps but not hard like the older trucks were.

Pros: Haulin' stuff

Cons: cant haul all my friends

Really Reliable! — We've had this truck since I was born! It's never had any work on it though it needs it now. The only thing that I don't like about it right now is that it has a squeek when turning sharply and my granddad hasn't replaced the brakes since the stone age (they're mush!)

Pros: good for hauling and reliable

Cons: gas guzzler and has the turning radius of the TITANIC!

Solid. — I had the 360cid V8 version and loved that engine. It was a powerhouse! The body rusted out before the engine gave up!!

Pros: Powerful, reliable, lots of room.

Cons: not very comfortable, and the 360cid was a gas-pig!
