1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Coupe RWDReview

What? — it was a fun car to drive. i just bought it because it was a 5-speed. so fun to drive, well, untill i wore out the cluchplate and broke the t. a. mount.i should have kept it. but i sold it for more than i had in it and thats all that mattered. Pros: it was a 5-speed Cons: it was only a 305 tpi. but you can't hate, it was the only way to get a 5-speed in the f-body. |

Awesome! — It is a nice car overall. I would rather it be a stick shift because that would be a lot funner to drive. I love having t-tops because its almost like a convertible so its nice driving when its a good day out. It has recently had a new paint job so that is a plus when I got the car, it just needed some normal maintenance work done to it but it runs really good now! Pros: Nice ride Cons: None |

1989 Chevrolet Camaro Rs — This car was very fun to drive first of all. Though the performance of the 5.0 v8 and the 2.73 gears were pretty on the low end it was still fast for being that. The car was tough and took a very heavy beating...great car for a teen first driver except for the fact that it had no airbags but it felt like a tank. Personally I am not that into the 3rd gen Camaros, I love the 1st gen and the 4th gen Camaros but it was still a pretty nice looking car and it was VERY clean. Pros: Tough Cons: 2.73 non posi |

The Cockroach — My favorite car hands down. had the 5.0 TPI motor. Got spanked by Mustang LXs, but it was a lot more comfortable. Modified the holly crap out of it ... exhaust, cold-air, Paxton SC, etc etc. Buddies called it the Cockroach cuz of the factory louvers and the maroon paint. Pros: Decent handling in it's day. Shred tires on demand. Cons: creaked like a mother. Tires every year. |

Nothing Special Camaro, But I Like It — What can I say, it was the run of the mill IROC, but I always liked them as a kid. When I graduated college I bought it as a gift for myself. It was 7 years old and had under 60,000 miles. The body has held up well, and everything works. Sadly, the quality is far superior to the new GM cars I have been buying. Very fun to drive. It feels like coming home! Pros: Build quality, peformance Cons: Stupid T-tops leak as on every other F car ever built |

89 Camaro Rs — Performance- acceleration was great, braking was good, handling was ok. Build Quality- the driver side window leaked- i found out at the car wash! Cost- it was a gift from my Grandpa, i don't remember the mpg Appearance- blue paint, dark blue interior- a few dents Fun Factor- It was so fun driving this car! I would race people all the time, and stomp on the gas nearly every time I had the chance. Pros: fun to drive, acceleration was great Cons: not good for a daily driver if you're trying to conserve gas |

Kirt's Camaro — Right now I have a crate 350 in it but over the winter it will be getting a 496 big block. (454 bored 30 over with a stroker crank). Body has a few problems, clear coat on the paint is coming off but it is an older car but it isn't bad looking. Pros: Built not bought Cons: Not fast enough |

Awesome Muscle Car!!! — this car rules i love it to death i can spin my tires like nothing and do everything with it. it is a definite head turner, most will have lots of miles on them but with a good rebuild it be awesome, you would definitley love this car if you like any muscle cars. it is originally a race car it was used in the International Raceing Of Champiions hence the Iroc-Z version. so this car handles amazing and does everything well it is a good strong muscle car. Pros: looks awesome, handles well, its american muscle Cons: not to much except that it has a fair amount of kms on it |

Great — Good acceleration and top speed. Handling is great! Overall quality is awesome for its age. Strong, sturdy car. Gas mileage sucks, and maintenance can be expensive. Overall, car is in great condition and runs good. Will be a street-legal, SCCA racecar in the near future. In other words, best damn car I've ever had, period! Pros: great car Cons: worse gas mileage |
