Supra Needs Better Gaskets! — Owned an 88 Supra with Targa top from new until 10 years old. Sold it with 88K miles. Not a bad car, except twice I had to change the header gasket (a $2200 job each time) due to oil leaks. I finally gave up on the car when the roof gaskets would not allow the roof to seal properly and I had a wet lap everytime it rained. Easy to drive and maintain otherwise.

Pros: Cool looking car; fast without being overpriced

    Cons: Leaking oil; leaking roof

Supras Are Awesome! — There is not much bad to say about this car. I don't use the backseat, because I am always driving it, so I really don't care about that! It is the BEST, most fun car to drive EVER!! The attention to detail is amazing. I have waited 21 years to own one, and it was worth the wait. There is nothing like the looks I get going down the highway, and it can still put your head back when you give it the gas.

Pros: Extremely comfortable, attention to detail is amazing!

    Cons: None

Great Car — fairly fast, good handling, paint looks great, great car to drive, easy to drive, targa top = awesomeness, smooth running engine, lots of performance and appearance upgrades are available, its a solid car, not much roll when taking corners at high speeds

Pros: fast, somewhat good on gas, comfortable seats, loud exhaust, turns heads

Cons: non-turbo :-( , not low enough, needs some bodywork, needs rims

Doug's 88 Supra — First car, wasn't a turbo version but I loved it all the same. It had power and drove well and didn't require as much upkeep as other cars to keep it running perfectly. Great starter car and luckily I never wrecked it!

    Pros: Most Everything

    Cons: Age

Supra — Other than the bhg issue, the mkiii toyota supra is an extremely reliable car. It is a sports car even though it weighs quite a bit. I have an n/a but i have a turbo in my garage that im installing soon. It is extremely fun to drive and i love it, and of course, its a supra.

    Pros: targa top

    Cons: burgudy interior

Ga70 — Gwil and I brought this car in 2005 from a dealership in port kennedy. At first we thought it was really fast being a twin turbo, the only experience we had with cars was a little hyundai excell, so after a little research we discovered it was a model made more for comfort than speed. After we got a new car I was driving the supra, I loved it. My own little piece of sports car.The interior was a luxurious burgundy. It had slight fading on the seats and some leather damage but was comfy. You could electrically adjust the seat sides to maketi fit to your body better, the mirrors could electrically fold in an out and it had a good stereo that we put in 6 months after we got the car. After spending atleast $10000 on repairs we sold it. I will always miss this car!

    Pros: Fun to drive

    Cons: Needed alot of repairs.

Supra — Performance- the bottom end on these cars are virtually bullet proof. You can do many bolt on upgrades more than doubling the stock horsepower and the internals will take it. Build Quality- the car is built solid. ive done minor repairs to the car besides its regular maintenance. the car is still running like new with 206,000 miles on it. Appearance- the car has an aerodynamic and sleek look. i really dont like the taillights on the car but besides that the car is awesome. Overall i love the car and it is very fun to drive.

    Pros: Turbocharged inline six

    Cons: The Tail lights

Pop Up Lights! — Performance-wise: It's a Supra. 3.0 24V In-line 6, Front-engined RWD coupĂ©. So let's just say it's nice to drive! This car grips the track like nothing else and when it loses grip it's completely predictable. Build quality is actually very solid and everything is held together with nuts and bolts so easy to swap. Only problem is that all the nuts and bolts have rusted so they all need swapping too... Everybody loves pop-up headlights. That is all.

    Pros: Looks, Handling, Engine, Lights

    Cons: Rusty bolts

The Supra Is One Of My All Time Favourites — The north american top of the line version comes with a 3.0L in line 6cyl 24valve DOHC 7MGTE single turbo engine. It is a very nice car fully loaded, targa top, ajustable shock coils, and plenty of power but there are some down sides to the car. The engine tends to have alot of head gasket problems and the body rust's easily, the interior also depending on the color can look pretty retro aswell

Pros: the car has every option possible that you can get

Cons: head gasket problems and retro interior
