1988 Toyota MR2Review

A Classic Sports Car For Sale For A Reasonable Price. — I've had this car for several years. It had 21,000 miles when I bought it and it now has 66,000 miles. I mostly drove it to work and around town during the summer months. But there were some high speed trips to Anchorage... I drove it in snow a few times when it snowed while I was on a trip. It handles very decently in snow with the right tires. It really drives well at high speed. It corners beautifully and has no tendency to break loose. I have totally enjoyed taking it on high speed runs as well as driving it to work. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This is a really fun car to drive. Even if you're driving at normal traffic speeds it's a fun car to drive. It handles well and stops well. Excellent build quality. I absolutely love how it looks. Cons: The only negatives I can think of would revolve around it's small size. It's also not a good winter car if you want to keep it looking nice. Mostly this is a totally fun car. ![]() Looking for a Used MR2 in your area?CarGurus has 15 nationwide MR2 listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |
1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged Coupe Review
Gary says:
Very fun car to drive, no power steering and abs giving you the best experience to learn how to drive a stick shift. Since this is a mid-engine car which allow you to turn easily. You might think 145 horsepower is not enough, but this is a late 80’s car, the weight advantage and the supercharger that gives you a fastest experience than Miata. Also the Fancy flip light design, the same engine as ae86(4age) give you a lot of fun. vs1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata Base
