Love My B-series — My truck will be getting body work and paint this spring/summer and is my fault that is looks the way it does... Its not a race car but runs like hell with no problems at all as far as reliablity. This is a very fun truck to drive and it turns heads everywhere I go. This is my 2nd mazda and I love them.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Few and Far Between

Cons: None

Gutless — ungodly slow, and the computer controlled carburetor is just a pain in the ass. its really just a closed loop efi system in a carb body. immediately selling it to buy a toyota. no power. no torque. no aftermarket. the actual efi model is easy to work on and because of this is much more fun to drive and own. if your just a basic commuter it will get the job done, but dont expect to go anywhere in a hurry. it can be fun to drive though. 4x4 is a blast off road.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: theyre everywhere and cheap.

Cons: gutless and carburetor sucks

A Dependable Daily. — Performance is poor, with the exception of hauling capacity. It has always been a reliable vehicle, rarely needing repairs. Appearance is okay for a truck. Cost of ownership is low. I would have to say that the truck is not a really fun vehicle to drive, unless there's about an inch of snow on the ground.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good fuel mileage, reliability, cheap!

Cons: Poor performance, uncomfortable seats.

This was a good basic utility truck. Cheap to drive and maintain, tough, and cheap to buy. Not good for more than commuter drives, with a harsh ride and sloppy handing, but reasonably fun to drive... Read More
