Awasome Car In Its Day — I was in College when I bought this car. I loved it. Even with the 4 cylinder in it was fun to drive, It was a great car for a young couple, but before long the couple needed something bigger & hated giving it up. Pros: Ladies liked it Cons: Needed the bigger engine |

Oldie But Goodie, Torque Monster — What a quarter mile car. There's nothing like the sound of a 5.0 like this with intake, headers, X-pipe, exhaust, Hurst shifter, and Centerforce clutch. Very tail happy, and the brakes were about useless, but standing on the loud pedal never failed to make me laugh after a rough day at work. Pros: Ferocious punch, addictive engine roar, good shifter Cons: Heavy clutch (in heavy traffic), wipers and headlights worked occasionally, brakes hardly ever |

Im Miss This Car — owned this car for not even a full year .. painted it, completely upgraded the suspension and alot more plans for it , until a careless driver not paying attention cut me off and wrote off my car Pros: great muscle car that doesnt break the bank Cons: onceyou start modding , you cant stop |

Overall Good Car Lacks In Some Fields But For A Car That Was Built In 1988 Very Well Built Piece — The car made good power in 1988 as to todays cars its fast but not as fast as the newer Camaro's and Trans Am's. But the car definetly is a head turner as you dont see many good looking Fox Body Mustang's around. Pros: Looks good, mild performance Cons: older technology, not enough poformance |

No More Mustang After This One — It's a Mustang, I got bored after 1 year of owning it. Pretty fast car in those days. Brakes and steering were horrible. Froze my ass off in the winter with that thin vinyl top and poor heating. Bottom line: Awesome car for going out and cruising back in those days, and that's about it. Mods: 3.73 gears, Flowmasters 2.5", high-flow cats, under-drive pulleys, ram-air. Pros: Immortalized by Vanilla Ice's video: Ice Ice Baby Cons: A Chinese guy driving a White Mustang GT = Lemon Ice |

The Absolute Moodiest Car I Have Ever Driven...but I Love Her! — She's solid, dependable and moody. There's always something that needs to be done to improve her but she's fine the way she is! Pros: Easy to work on, great gas mileage Cons: My husband trying to convince me to shoehorn a 5 litre in her instead |

Part Of The Family — I love my mustang so much, when I evacuted for Hurricane Katrina I had to leave several cars. A 1994 mustang, a 1998 Lexus, and a 1988 convertiable mustang. I went back and sold the other cars and kept my 88. Owner for 6 years, 0 months Miles Driven per Year:500 Pros: easy to create horsepower Cons: not to many convertiable accessories |

Great Car — Accelerates nicely, power is really there when you want it. Hate the 4 lug rims. Brakes good. Not a car for more than 3 people to fit it unless your small. Front seats feel great. Lowering springs not for you if your city roads are like plowed fields. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: That its a mustang Cons: Lowered, city streets makes it bumpy as hell |

Gas Saver And Still A Mustang! — It may not be the prettiest ride in some respects, but is overall mechanically sound with superb fuel economy. I was never really fond of the fox body style before buying this but it is definitely growing on me. I can't wait to get a set of custom wheels on it, I think it'll make all the difference in my present cosmetic opinion. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The solid, clean 2.3 under the hood is a total lifesaver at the pump. I am used to driving a 5.0L 305 in a Chevy pickup. This gas gauge barely moves on my routine trips and I love it. Cons: It is very rough around the edges when it comes to paint job. Not so bad on the rust, could be a LOT worse. I give the interior a 6 out of 10. |
