1987 Vauxhall CavalierReview
1987 Vauxhall Cavalier 1800 Sri Saloon — My first "performance" car; well one with SRi in the name anyway!! The bombproof Cavalier 1800 SRi with OHC engine which took so much abuse it;s untrue! When I bought the car, it had a Peco rear silencer which sounded the nuts, but it didn't take long to rot! This was my first taste of performance, and while people raved about XR3i's this was faster and more comfortable than any Escort!!
Pros: Willing Engine, Ultra Reliable and pretty much bomb proof
Cons: Nothing Significant - Prone to rust
