Buy A Welder And Keep It Going — a 1.4s, my first car and we all have good memories of our first car, mine had done 240,000 miles before it died of rust monkeys, very reliable and if it wasn't you could repair it by smacking it with a hammer, good handling, quite nippy, cheap to run and very fond memories

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: cheap nippy

Cons: rust rust rust

87' Xr2 — Quite good car for everyday-using. It isn't new but gives a lot o fun when you're hanging around the streets or ridin' shopping. It seems to be cheap ride but original Ford Fiesta XR2 parts are or hard getting or even unavailable.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: A lot of fun

Cons: interior

Dan's Opinion — A fun little car. 1.1l engine economical, cheap insurance and quite 'nippy' really. Cheap and easy to maintain, (especially if you're handy with a MIG welder!) I fitted the XR2 bodykit to hide all the rust around the bottom! faster than you might imagine!

Pros: cheap, good fun

Cons: rust on the rust!

Fiesta Xr2 Mk2 — nippy great handling can give a lot of higher powered cars a run for their money on country lanes now starting to become highly sort after. build quality as you can expect for an eightys ford ain't the best but simple and does the job.styling is in a class of its own. running costs are small jjust getting hard to find parts now. fun factor well it's great

Pros: handling looks won't depreciate in value now !

Cons: parts are sometimes hard to find

Rubbish At Taking Speed Bumps Fast! — My "Silver Wisp" was splendid, especially after upgrading to incorporate a stereo column!

Pros: none

Cons: Yes, should be in prison

Yes, the Fiesta ST-Line is a good value. 2019 is the last model year, so we wonder about parts availability down the road. But its very economical to drive, getting almost 42 miles to the gallon (even... Read More

I like the fiesta, I had one in the past it is a reliable car. It looks good, it gets great gas mileage, and it is a FORD! I would compare this car to the Chevy Cruze, or the Honda civic. Read More

The car is fun to drive. It definitely has that going for it. However it is a cheaply made car. Im concerned about future reliability. Also, of you drive it hard, and stay in the turbo, your fuel ... Read More
