Nice Beemer — Great acceleration, 28mpg, great appearance, Fun with top down or not. Clutch, battery, tires and motor put on in the last 2 years.Very reliable, does not have original radio cassette player. Kept in the garage most of the time. Make someone a good 2nd auto. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: handling Cons: back screen |

You Won't Regreat When You Get One! — Its a fun car to drive with BMW handling and relatively good braking and acceleration. The build quality is pretty good and for a car 20 years old it holds its own. Gas could be an issue, especially for drivers with a heavy left foot, but it delivers all the time! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: driving experience Cons: mileage |

Bottom Line: This Car Is A Keeper! — Great handling, acceleration is alright but need more power. Appearance is timeless and the interior is simple but great. Easy to work on and cost is not that high for parts. MPG's are decent for a Straight 6. The fun factor is great with the top down in the summer! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Style is the reason to have this car. Cons: Avoid this if you are power hungry. |

I Wouldn't Ever Trade It For Any Other — Everything in this car is stock. Every single spare part has been BMW, and the car has been always mantained by me and my mechanic. For me it is a pretty fast ride, it goes very well through corners; mechanically it is not a very complicated car (just the ABS), and it is loads of fun... LOADS of fun Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Very comfortable, fast, good looking Cons: The ride is a little bit old-fashioned |

None :) — love my car, handles turns exceptionally well along with drifting, brakes on a dime, just wish her acceleration was faster. she is about 23 years old but still runs like a dream. currently no needed repairs, just fixed her power-steering system since it finally gave out on me after 23 years of having her. 2-door coupe, leather interior (ricky ricaro racing seats), racing tires (unsure of type/creator), has a computer built into her, recently installed a new stereo system since the factory installed radio finally died. grey exterior but needs a new paint job from minor scratches here and there. speedometer broke so mileage is uncertain. and this car is extremely fun to drive if driven properly Pros: taking turns at fast speeds Cons: none |

Randy's New Baby (named It Zippy ) — I have only driven it off the loader and around the block, BUT Man-O-Man was it quick and very responsive in turns. So far in the past month to get it reworked the fluids have been changed oil, gas, antifreeze after setting up for 5 years the gas looked like carmal and the antifreeze was mud ! The body was in great shape the paint was faded but was expected due to the age and a local paint shop is donating paint and time to get it looking correctly for me, they see the beauty in the beast. so far to date I have about $300. hard earned dollars invested outside of the $500 I paid for it ( running ) Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: who would'nt want to own a great ! automobile like a BMW Cons: are you kidding ! |

Stylish, Quick, Maneuverable And Versatile With Respects To The Convertible. — I bought my 325ic from the original owner with 60k mi on it back in 1998. It was a rare find with a 24 karat gold grill and attached certificate of authenticity. I knew the vehicle was about 28k new and I was fortunate enough to pick it up for 5k. I quickly realized this vehicle has more information center indicators than most new American cars today! Headlight out indicator, to license plate light, just plain helpful if you don't want to be slowed down by law enforcement. It had the original factory spare tire, a Pirelli P6000, never used. It also had the original BMW tool kit located in the trunk lid. But by far the most impressive resistance to stranding me this vehicle has is LIMP MODE...when the water pump goes out(thus affecting the cooling system) the vehicle doesn't simply overheat, it goes into limp mode. Meaning it will calibrate the speed it can move without putting the failing cooling system in complete surrender. In my case on a hot summer day on I 5 OR heading to Medford it maxed out at 27, while I was used to the vehicle moving much more swiftly, I was happy to not have to call for a tow, instead "limped" to Medford BMW, where they informed me about the little known feature. This vehicle now has 219k miles on it and is still a blast to drive in the sun or anytime..oh and it will hit 125 plus anyday...that straght 6 is smokin! CAn't wait to give to my daughter in 3 years as her first car! I haven't been pulled over for speeding since 2005(thank you Passport Escot X 850) but the last time I was cited the vehile was 18 years and I got a 110 in a 55..oh and the Automatic transmission is one of two on the State of CA list to be exempt from the smog procedure base on how many third party smoggy have revved it passed 3.5k RPM in neutral for extended periods of time till they just blew too many so BMW owners win!! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Dependable, quick, Most comfortable At 75-85 mph. and the info center, the hood you know will neverf fly up in your faced because it opens in reverse. Economical, 23-28 mpg Cons: You really gotta watch that possitrack, I have had my share of 180s at a n intersection with too much on the gas. I still love it after all these years! I have had a total of 7 BMWs and this was my third,it knows how to hang on! |
