The Best Import I Have Owned — It was an awesome little car that would go like no tomorrow.

Pros: It was light and rear wheel drive

Cons: The old tires that didnt stick well when you put your foot to the floor.

Street Legal Go-kart! — Pretty clean car in and out, would be nice if it was supercharged ;)

Pros: Light, agile, and balanced

Cons: no power steering, limited storage space (although it does have 2 trunks!)

Respect The Triangles! — One of the best handling cars of the mid-80's. And even though marked it as ugly i love the wedge shape.

Pros: fun to drive
light weight
can fit the 4AGE silver top

Cons: its old and parts are hard to find

Need It Own It Love It — My wife bought me an 86 a few years ago and i sit and watch Overhauling all the time thinking what it would be like to have a "perfectly" restored MR2. Wow, if i could drop a 6 in it, digital dash antilock brakes and bring the life back into it. I just drool at the possibilities. Mr2 is the affordable Racecar. Sitting in it feels right, nomatter how old and run down it gets. I will never get rid of it just because it represents Toyotas passion for fine driving performance!

Closest Thing To A Lotus That I Can Afford — Awesome car. Very reliable so far, especially for its age. Very fun to drive. Handles well and it's easy to drive. This is my first car with a manual transmission. I have replaced the parking brake cable, clutch, wheel bearing, headlights, air filter, clutch, valve cover gasket, and oil cooler hoses. Upgrades include leather aftermarket seats, aftermarket steering wheel, stereo, rims, exhaust, and a rear sway bar. I painted the calipers and valve cover red. I plan to add a remote locking system and eventually turbocharge it or do an engine swap.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Unique, handles well, great fuel economy, fun to drive

Cons: Not a whole lot of power

1986 Mr2 Mk1 — very good speed and handling for a 1.6 engine, very comfortable with good features and a good design from toyota who show how smart they were and are with this car. good fuel economy although the tank only holds 40l. downside: trying to find cheap insurance for them when youre young

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: light, fast acceleration, good economy, confortable inside

Cons: bad weather makes it messy
