Unforgetable And Breathtaking — the car is thirsty, but its extremely reliable. not only quick but can grip the turns with the best in its class. room is limited, if your over 5' 10'' it will be difficult to get comfortable. storage is decent with the hatch and back seats down. back seats suitable for children and thats it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun / Handling / women like it / very reliable

Cons: gas milage / room and comfort

My 7 — Rotaries are the best ;) I lucked into one with a well maintained engine too. It had so many other things wrong with it when I got it...broken door handle, messed up tail lights/stereo/headlights/turn signals/interior lights/wipers, broken fuel door...it's depressing ;). most of its fixed anyhow. As a performer, there's nothing not to love. Sounds good with newer exhaust, spirited, everything. Interior quality (dash components) isn't the best because of cheap plastic though...also- electronics are WEAK. I've since reworked my entire system from headlight and tail lights to wiper switches and radio. resoldered EVERYTHING. All that and still love it though;)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: driving, performance, handling

Cons: interior quality, electronics

Fun Fun Fun — Outruns more expensive competition such as honda s2k nissan 240 porsche 924 944 with just headers and exhaust most older cars need fresh grounds rx7 really benefit from this turns heads and spawns conversation not very good for long daily commutes poor mpg

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: cornering  tuners wet dream

Cons: gas mileage  rotary quirks

The Begining On A New Era 1986 Mazda Rx7 — In 1986 Mazda introduced the 2nd generation of RX7 cars. The body changed, the engine changed, the suspension changed, and the car was introduced to an entire new line of Mazda sports cars to come. The engine made good power for the car, the suspension was by far one of the MOST upgraded things and the cars handled PRECISE. The interior came in many colors and the feel was quite well. Performance: The car handled like on rails. Acceleration: The cars overall power was very nice the 0-60 was a WHOPPING 7.7 seconds Braking:: if u needed to stop, putting the pedal down on this car would do so VERY quick.

Pros: Speed, Handling, control

Cons: Interior was nice but leaves a little to be desired, the car did gain ALOT of weight from the last generation

Rotary Power Mazda Rx-7 — Great car; loved it rode, and drove awesome!! This car is really testy, if it got too much gas, revved too high, the temp. that day was too hot, or too cold, everything made this car testy! I would buy one again. The car looks awesome, for such an old car it was always turning heads! The clutch is a pain to replace. The car is known for problems with the headlights, wipers, and window switches. Best in climates with steady temperatures.

Pros: Rode, drove, and looked good!

Cons: Testy car!

This Rx-7 — is a very awsome vehicle. the rotary engine is very unique and are quite reliable. Very strong body and chassis. performance is a given with car as well as the price! I picked this up for about a $1000 dollars and its a fantastic project car. overall and grand car fun for everyone!

Pros: good drifter

Cons: old car

Poor Man's Vette — VERY quick. great sleeper, no one suspects an 86 rx7 to have a 400+ hp small block chevy under the hood ;) This car is the best of both worlds, mid 80's japanese sports car handeling, and BIG AMERICAN MUSCLE acceleration. I have about $8 grand in this car (including purchase) and it will keep up with most 100k+ cars on any race track.

Pros: ALWAYS gets a reaction from car crowd

Cons: no traction in 1 or 2nd gear ;)

Was Stolen Twice Sold, Sold Again, Then Traded To Me — i like my car because it uses the all unique rotary technology. it helps keep it light-weight, quiet engine and save on gas... and it is moderatly fast. it is not the best looking car but it isnt ugly. it looks alot like a porsche 944. i traded it strait up for a VW bug. its fun because even though its quiet to drive it roars when you push it and it is fun to take it around tight corners.

Pros: cool and comfy

Cons: really ugly and old

Sweetly Built Rx7 — It was a bad ass little ride. More reliable than my turbo one. Speed was kinda slow, but not bad.

Pros: Looks, 100 shot of NOS, racing seats w/ harness, DVD player, and the sound of the car

Cons: Speed

Best Car I Have Ever Driiven, I Would Like To Get Another One — Handling is exellent and the engine was great pulling hard to redline. Great interior with comfortable leather seats with great support and moonroof and power options. Auto adjusting suspension and speed sensitve steering were great as well as the 5 speed trans with hydraulic clutch and 4 wheel disc brakes.

Pros: Great performance and fun to drive

Cons: Need to perfrom alot of regular maintinace
