Vicious — this thing is such a beast. said to be the best motor that general motors ever made. it was my grandpa's car and its' being passes through the family. the only downside is the gas mileage it gets but other than that its awesome. its got a small block 305 chevy original motor v8 engine. it'll get up and go but also real comfortable. i love this car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: power, performance, luxury

Cons: gas mileage

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: the fact that its a classic and pure american muscle

Cons: the passenger side door doesnt open and needs to be fixed

86 Monte Ss - Car Of My Dreams — Black exterior (no pin strip), maroon interior, no cigarette burns to the seats, great stereo system inside, with 2-12's in the trunk for added bass (just in case you were in the mood). T-Tops, Tinted windows, 15'' crome rims, 350 block, awesome "pick up and go" power

Pros: She was quick of the line

Cons: She needed some work with her steering components still

It's Been A Fabulous 22 Years! — I'm the original owner of this fine 1986 Monte Carlo LS. The best car I ever owned. It's totally stock with a 305 V8 4 bbl. Great performance, nice ride.

Pros: no body rust, design, body integrity, great motor!

Cons: doors, rockers will rust too quickly if not undercoated.

A Great Car But Still Needs Some Work. — Bought it for 1300. V8. has fairly new Tranny, alternator and cat converters. Only 78K miles on it. i use it for summer currently. I want to keep it and fix it up however i need a reliable car for the winter too.

Pros: Should last several years with little cost.

Cons: Gas is expensive and there seems to be some electrical issues
