1986 Corvette — Corvettes are great, reliable cars with good performance and GREAT value! I Can't wait to buy a newer one! You always get loads of attention, plus it's cool to tell everyone you own a corvette, it's a great conversation peice. I wouldn't mind trading mine in for a c5 though!

Pros: Value, reliability, performance, and yes, even gas mileage! 32+ MPG!! Seriously...

Cons: Not much. They run hotter than I like, but mine has only over heated once.

Great Overall Sports Car — Awesome car. Looks sleek and sounds great with any aftermarket exhaust system. Just as fast as most modern sports cars that cost about 5 times the price.

Pros: Probably one of the fastest cars you can get for the price, Good fuel efficiency for 22 year old sports car, alot of different performance parts to pick and choose from.

Cons: Front spoiler is too low, back tail lights are a bitch to replace.

Cleaned Up And Re-built This Only To Race It Once — My buddy bought this car for a steal. It looked like it had not ever been taken car of. So we broke it down and did all the basics and replaced the shocks, etc.

Pros: It's a Vette...  Very smooth on the road and fun to drive.

Cons: No real high performance compared to other cars of today

1986 Chevrolet Corvette Two-tone — My first Corvette, and still in the family. Since this photo was taken my sister's taken ownership of it as a college ride, and the entire exterior and my Z06 rims have all been painted black. It truly looks wicked.

Pros: The low-end torque combined with the 4+3 manual transmission make this a torque-monster off the line and a blast to drive.

Cons: You need to prop up the rear window with an aftermarket mod in order to keep wind from catching in the car and slowing it down when the roof's off and the windows are down. There is a distinct lack of high RPM power from the engine, but this is common with the TPI L98 block.

Rides Like A Champ! — This is a sweet ride. Handles extremely well. It can move pretty quick and turn heads just as fast.

Owner for 1 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:8,000

Pros: Good preformance and is very comfortable.

Cons: Runs a little warmer than I would prefer.

Awesome — This Vette runs very strong and still looks great among many of today's newer sport cars. This one is for the most part, a stock vehicle; meaning no real engine modifications. Only an air-intake vortex power spacer for a few more ponies and efficiency, as well as tuned with performance products. The original front bumper was professionally OEM upgraded to accommodate newer matching Greenwood fascia kit, which turned out to be a huge improvement. Overall, these cars are known as a 'rolling power-house' for their power-to-weight ratio straight from the factory.

Pros: All-American Sports Car

Cons: I'm bias...don't have any

I am a 16 year old and this is my first car, so I dont have a large range of cars to compare it to. My daily driver before this was a 1998 Mercedes S420 luxury sedan. This is much quicker, much more fun (as expected). I see no problems with it actually, Its a fast, old muscle car.

"I have the Z51 Suspension package on mine and it handles like a racecar. The suspension is extremely stiff, but if you can handle a few bumps. Its perfect!"
