A Classic Rotary Beast That Is Diffrent Than Anything Else On The Road — I have an 85 Rx7 GS. I got it last fall and mechnically restored over the winter. It runs really well with no rust anywhere. Hauls some butt with a few mods and looks good for a 25 year old car. I rebuilt and jetted the stock carb with mechanical secondaries. I also put a header and turbo muffler with no cats. Its not the fastest machine, but if you learn how to work the pedal and be on with the car you will love it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Classic look, ease of maintenance, decent power for its age

Cons: 110 bolt pattern, steering takes getting used to.

Best Cars I Have Owned — Loved it to bits, she was like a bullet pushin 450hp with a single turbo, stage 3 intercooler and a 5 speed box.... what more can a boy ask for? Very fun car if wanting to go side ways around coners.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The craftsmanship

Cons: the drivers seat

Good Car To Have If You're Alone And You Like To Tinker. — Performance: so-so Build Quality: Good. It is Japanese. Appearance: Not bad considering it's 25 years old. Cost of Ownership: Not all that much until you get to the rotary engine. Gets 19 mpg. Fun Factor: It is fun to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun

Cons: I would need a thesaurus to tell you the reasons to avoid this car.

1985 Mazda Rx7 Gs — Good acceleration, awesome braking and handling. It is built like a little tank. The styling is classing, and I am currently in the process of putting the body back together on it and then will prep it for a paint job. The car gets amazing mileage for the fun involved in driving it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sticks to the road, perfect 50/50 weight.

Cons: Wish it was a bit faster off the line.

Fun Weekend Warrior — It looks like a wedge on wheels. That being said the performance is unbelievable with an 8000 RPM RPM range, it truly is fun to drive. You find yourself shifting quite alot, both because you need the extra rpm's and because its fun to hear it wind up! The cornering and handling is stiff, and solid. You find yourself wanting to jam into a low gear, crank the wheel, and gas it so that you can slide around instead of merely driving.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun fun fun!

Cons: only two seats, make it hard to take friends for a ride.

Nothing Else I've Owned Could Cope With The Way It Gets Driven. — Performance - 1/4 Mile time 16.0 Top speed 220km/h Lateral Gs .9 Appearance - it really does look good for it's age. Fun factor - The reason anyone has a loud car that will do 8000rom whenever you ask it to. Cost of ownership - Not bad considering I wrapped one around apole and just went and got another one, wasn't happy so I went and got, you guessed it another one. Man-o-man how many words is this thing going to ask me to enter before it lets me continue. Cons: It is a little noisy....:-)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 220km/h from a 1985 car with no Turbo

Cons: It is a little noisy....:-)

The Bees Knees — handling is the best thing you could imagine its also unique that it has a rotary engine not a piston engine its so worth it to own one and its the most fun you will ever have in your whole life!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: its an Rx-7 period

Cons: none heheh

The Rotary — Triangle power!!! it's an older car so quality is not great, but it could be worse performance is pretty good, very unique driving due to rotary engine Super fun car to drive, more like a big go-kart the only things i've found wrong with it, but have learned to love are: bumpers, loudness (can be taken care of), and the lack of stock on much needed parts from the auto part stores.

Pros: triangles triangles, and more triangles, loads of fun, big go-kart like feeling.

Cons: no power steering, older car so for the most part some things are gonna need to be replaced, but lots of fun while doing it :)
