My First Convertible...what Can I Say — Have yet to drive it. Been working on fuel issues to get it running, etc. I think it will be a fun ride once I get there. Lots of work to be done yet...paint, carpet, top, everything. A total restore.

Pros: styling and character

Cons: plastic parts....hate 'em

It's Actually A Capri — It's an oldie but a goodie. Although it may have had a long and stressful life, it still kicks and has a huge amount of thrust. It might be worth it to restore it completely and soup the engine, but for now, it's a home-to-work-to-home driver for me and that's all it will be.

Pros: Fast, has a sunroof, a rare vehicle

Cons: Gas guzzler, handling sucks, long shifts

Just Got It. — Had a honda with 200k go bad on me and had to make a quick car purchase for a small amount of money. Got the car for $600.00. So far so good. It has problems that any 20+ year old car has, wind noise, rattling windows, hatch doesn't latch fully, and the hood catch is tough to release and lock (needs to be lubed) Most to these things are easily correctable or liveable. The drivers seat is worn out forcing me to lean to the right when I drive but the upholstry (is that spelled right?) is in pretty good shape. The car runs well with about 220 on the clock, brakes are good, it has a three speed auto and I have not driven it faster than 55 until I have a chance to get the tires checked and run through all the fluids. All and all I think it will be a good commuter car. If anyone knows where the low pressure ac check and fill valve is please respond, it only blows cool air and I want to check it and fill if necessary.

$100.00 Gem Lx — I Bought the baby for $100.00 and it has been a great car. well worth every penny and a whole lot more. I have changed the suspension out to the GT Goodies and Am Building a 5.0 H.O. with the 5 Speed and 3.73 Limited slip rear end. It should be an even funner car to drive. I am not to disappointed with the 4 banger in it I just want more. Cornering and handling is great. Reliability for a car of this age has also been very good. When I purchased it there were some repairs needed. No big deal but the person I purchased it from did not fix the radiator fan when it went out and he wound up blowing a head gasket. This was Very inexpensive to fix. Around $100.00 DIY.

This Car Is A Very Rare Mustang — i own 1 of the 3 gray 1985.5 ford mustang GT. most say that the first year of fuel injection was in the 1986 models, but it wasn't, the first year of fuel injection was in late 1985 with the throttle body fuel injection. making this 1 of the rarest mustangs ever made. today there is only 1 other gray 1985.5 ford mustang GT driving around because the other out of the 3 is already wrecked.

My Baby — Overall, I absolutely love my car! I bought it when I was 16 and I'm 25 now. I've put about 11,000 dollars into it so far. It has a 306 with an Edelbrock 600 carburetor, Headers, Msd distributor, Mallory coil, Electronic Spark Discharge Box with Rev Limiter, 355 rear-end gears, Super Duty T-5 transmission, Dual core high flow radiator, BBK X-pipe exhaust, 4 point seat belt harness's. Etc. I'm still doing a lot to it but, it is worth every penny and my love!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: A lot more than I could list!

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything too big.

Great fun car. Mine is the black one with gray trunk stripe. I love the inexpensive repairs being that it’s carbureted there are no sensors or injectors or electrical pump. The fuel pump new costs $20.00 in 2018. Very 70s muscle car feel and sound. Put aftermarket 17 inch tires and Cobra R rims from American Muscle. Good cargo and passenger space in the back seat for 2. Couldn’t be happier. Best bang for your buck without a doubt. Also getting rarer than 87-93 models as time goes by. Love the GT logo on side quarter panels.
