Decent — Its a fun car to drive and it has its up and downs. Looks fast but its not. It was a really cheap buy though. Its little and and it is fun to just drive. It has speakers in the headrests which is pretty sweet lol.

Pros: Its a sexy fun car to drive

Cons: handles really really bad and its slow

Bargain Mid-engine Sports Car — Sweet car, rare and hard to find. Handles sick, 4cyl is kinda slow..120mph top. The car is easy to work on the the plastic panels are always rust and dent free. Car will pull .89G on stock tires from '85. I would reccomend one to anyone looking for a fun ride and good investment.

Pros: Sweet Handling/braking

Cons: Almost Blown Engine/ auto tranny

Fieros Rock! — My first car. Got it running, and it runs smooth. Fun to drive/ride in, and has a quite bit of kick for a 4 cyl. It's a little rough, including lack of a/c, but it definatley has a lot of sassiness. Gas is good, and it looks pretty sporty, too!

Pros: Good look, small, low gas-costs

Cons: 4-Cyl, hard to get out of

Its A Love It Or Hate It Car. — This car delivers a great driving experience, its fun, practical for its class, and its easy to make it better.

Pros: Its cheap, its got the mid rear layout, four wheel disc brakes/independant suspension, it is a good project base.

Cons: It was sold as an economy car, high maintenance for somebody not in the know.

In Great Shape For An '84 — I traded a '97 pickup that wasn't running for it. It has a 2.5L 4cyl Iron Duke with a 4speed

Pros: 33mpg, looks good

Cons: Headlights are stuck open and parts are hard to find

Unique Collector Car With Potential — old car, tepid engine, good handling, poor breaks, but just a joy to drive, especially when i put the supercharged 3800 in it

Pros: great look, awesome potential

Cons: tepid performance, old technology

Small & Sporty — No matter how much crap I got for trying to restore this, I still love the Fiero. Although mine kinda sucked these cars are still really cool to me. I love the styling on both the base and gt's. The four cylinder with the 3 speed isn't anything to brag about I think this had a 0-60 of 10.9 seconds or something like that. It's small and handles well of course, but if you want one deffinatly go with the V6 with the 5 speed. I did have alot of electrical and headlight motor problems too.

Pros: Small, sporty, handles well.

Cons: Needs More Power!  Electrical problems...

A Two-seat, Mid-engine Car That Performs Like A Sports Car. — The 1984 Pontiac Fiero was a trend setter that threatened the Chevy Corvette's niche and was shut down by Pontiac. Loved by almost everyone that owns one, the Fiero was a mid-engine 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder car that was originally slated to be a daily commuter car. But those who bought one found it was much more.

Pros: Sporty, gas efficient, sexy.

Cons: Mid-engine mounted made it lighter in the front, no power steering, discontinued.

Small, Fast, Agile Car Built For Fun, Yet Less Expensive Than Foreign Sports Cars! By Richard
