1980 Saab 900 Review
Capable Runabout, Solidly Built And Safe — this GL spec (low spec) 900 non turbo did not have power steering, hatches are not as pretty as sedans IMO, but looks are individual and eye catching nontheless. Performance was pretty average, build quality was very very high though. Cost of ownership of saabs has always been a little higher than UK vehicles (in fact any imported car will be), and on this spec, the fun factor is limited, but it was a very capable lugger and runabout for many many years.
Primary Use: Family transportation
Pros: high spec Turbos are amazing and handle beautifully
Cons: low spec GL's uninspiring
