You Can't Beat Old Holden Looks, Reliability And Speed. Pitty It Doesn't Stop! — With the luxuary interior standard on the SL/E's and downright predictability from the 308, hi-stalled auto and LSD diff, you can't get any better from your money. Unless you want a flimsy front-wheel drived pocket rocket, that either you can't buy parts for or cost you an arm and leg and (Don't lean too hard while washing - you may dent 'em) Pros: Comfortable, great looks - all round tough car! - Built to last. My First Car, Ruby The Red Rocket — I loved this car, mechanics would comment that it was the tightest stock standard VB-VH they'd ever seen. Then someong smashed into me, and she was never the same again :( Pros: Reliabilty, cheap to run, good looking, made from pure metal (which pretty much saved my life when I got into a wreck, I came out with one broken bone) Cons: doesn't run as well after an accident :( |
