Fun To Drive With Alot Of New Features. — I bought my first Camaro (used) when I turned 18. It was fun to drive and had alot of new features. I liked the looks and performance of this new Camaro body-style. Away with the chrome bumpers and some of the trim pieces. I especially like the dash and the instrument cluster. I would drive around town and most of my friends would ask if they could have a ride since I was the only one with a sporty car. It was a good car that didn't break down very often. Owner for 4 years, 8 months Miles Driven per Year:14,000 Pros: Less chrome. Better performance. Affordable. Cons: Police magnet. |

Great First Car, But Nothing Special. — This was my first car in the world and my parents bought it for me when I turned 16.5 years old. It had bucket seats and a sweeping center console. The exterior lines were flowing and curvy like it could cut through water. I always admired the Z28 model of the same year, but this one didn't have the tail fin or the fender flares - it was pretty basic. It had a small V8 (I think it was a 305) with nice power, but not enough to boast about. It took me all of 3 months before I started tearing it apart to find out how it all fit together. I enjoyed this vehicle and hated to see it passed down to my sister, but I got something better out of the deal - another, more attractive and faster Camaro. Owner for 2 years, 4 months Miles Driven per Year:10,000 Pros: Strong engine and drive train. Interior was accomodating, but sporty. Cons: Had to pass it down to my sister. |

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Quick, sounds awesome, still has a carburetor (for now), navy blue metallic with white ghost flames, rear disc brake conversion Cons: Only good in a straight line, room for one, fuel economy, no a/c |
