Just As Reliable As Any Newer Vehicle On The Road — I would personally jump in this vehicle and drive across country without a worry in the world. Great gas mileage while everything fuctional. beside the many lookers and offers I enjoy the look it bestows on my soul. This vehicle takes me back to my youth when many of these vehicles are roaming the streets. This is the fun that relaxes the soul.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: machanically sound

Cons: needs paint work

Fun To Drive, Rare Convirtible — Great get up and go for being a smaller 4 cyl, but pretty tiny & no room for almost anything except maybe a magazine of cds, i mean really, not even speakers anywhere!- i had to put some of my own bookshelf speakers in

Pros: Cool lookin', rare British racing car

Cons: most Unreliable car on Earth!

The Mean Green Machine — Performance- acceleration was fair, braking was ok- it took a while for it to stop completely, handling was good- it was pretty stable on the road, it could turn on a dime Build Quality- it was sturdy, i didn't have it long so i didn't make any repairs Appearance- green with chrome accents, interior was tan Cost of Ownership- just normal mantenace like oil changes were done, and the gas milage was ok Fun Factor- this car was very fun to drive. it was only a two seater, but some how i fit three other people in it! everyone knew that it was me when they saw my car.

Pros: fun to drive

Cons: not a daily driver. my car would always smell like gas, but i don't know if it was like that for all spitfires.

Fantastic Car To Earn About Mechanics On Whilst Being Great Fun — well its a little two seater old sports car and convertable. the car itself isnt particularly fast but it is absolutely gorgeous. o-60 a long time at the moment. the old styling still lokks modern to this day. love the car because it is simple engineering, you can moderfy in any way you wish on the engine, plus problems are easy to solve. real good car to learn about cars on. also on a warm summers day there just isnt a better car to be in. Car is gradually getting done up and getting more and more poke by the week it seems. of course it rear wheel drive, so a proper car...

Pros: simple enginnering and modifying potential

Cons: bit on the small side, and restoration needed every few years to keep in good nik

Fun And No Depreciation — A classic badly built British sports car. Loads of fun, have to be prepared to get covered in oil. The day after I bought it, the clutch release arm pivot "fell out". Spent the next week on axle-stands with the engine out to replace a single piece of metal. Ah British Leyland - what wonderful folks.

Pros: Amazing fun

Cons: BL build quality
