Classic Pontiac Street Muscle — Its what GM called unibody construction, same as the Firebird and Camaro so body flex is a problem when driving on uneven ground. The stock 305 CID motor had ample power but my 396 CID engine swap almost trippled the grin factor (425HP - 470Tq). Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Rare to find a RWD Pontiac Phoenix, not to mention the 2DR Coupe model. Cons: Passes almost everything, except gas stations. ![]() Looking for a Used Phoenix in your area?CarGurus has thousands of nationwide listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |
