Will Own A Vette All My Life! — This car is way sexy! he's fun fun fun to drive!! Gas mileage sucks, but better than it was! Handles really quick and great at quarter mile! He's built Chevy strong, just wish the tops didn't leak!! Maintenence is normal as most cars! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: therapy! Cons: Gas mileage! ![]() Looking for a Used Corvette in your area?CarGurus has 6,150 nationwide Corvette listings starting at $2,995. |

3 Out Of 5 Stars... Until I Fully Repair, And Restore It. — Altough built in the 70's. I can't seem to dislike the car in any way. It's not the fastest ,or coolest car out there, but it has great personality. I don't care that it had poor build quality out of the factory 30 years ago or had 225 hp out of a 350 engine. Every time I get into the car, no matter how many times I drive it. It still puts a smile on my face. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Lots of fun. Cons: Poor build quality out of the factory, T-tops can easily leak. |

Black Vette — This car is quite awesome, though the low geared V8 leaves something to be desired, its a nice drive and has the go when you need to. Black ext., black int., and chrome trim...very nice color scheme. I personally like how the speedometer can't keep up with the acceleration. Pros: Ride Quality, Looks of the Vehicle Cons: Brakes... bleeder screws break easy... |

Classic Cars Never Go Out Of Style — If you want to show off in a car, this one will turn heads!! It's fun, fast and always enjoyable to drive. There isn't much maintenance because the engine is simple and easy to work on. If you know someone who has one, ask to go for a ride. Just don't ask if you can drive it. Pros: It's so fun to drive Cons: Constant maintenance |

Holy Sweetness — I love this car! Technically it's my dad's car, but he said I can drive it on dates. It's not the 'Vette in the photo, but it looks pretty similar to it. We need to fix it up a bit and make it run better. it gets about 10 to 15 miles per gallon Pros: it looks pretty superb Cons: all the stuff thats broken in it |

My 79 L-82 Stingray Corvette — She is a SEXY car! Fast, beautiful, dangerouse and lets face it... squeaky! GM had some problems with this generation of corvette. They were building 50,000 a year out of a factory never intended to build more than 10,000 a year. So things were missed! Lots of loose trim and rattles and I don't think the clock worked since the day the car was built. But lets not forget what counts! She's fast. Really fast! And I'm going to make her FASTER! My corvete is the L-82 High preformance model! And she just happends to be the fastes north american car made that year! She runs flat 15 in the 1/4. But that just to start. With the ZZ383 and TKO600 going in to her (not to mention 195 series Firstone tires) I'm aiming to run to some solid 11s. This is my race car. She sucks gas and goes fast! And that's what counts! Pros: SEXY! FAST! A REAL HEAD TURNER! Cons: Hot, rickety, gas sucking, and the seats will kill you after an hour. |

In A One-line Summary..... Well Its A Corvette What Else Needs To Be Said. — Built in the mighty USofA then was 1 of 200 shipped to Canada then brought back where its goin to stay....with me forever. T-tops, L-82 V8...(well kinda lol), oyster interior. next were gettin headers and sidepipes, MSD ignition system, maybe a 4speed auto trans, redo the interior (same color), hopefully a functioning cowl hood, and PAINT and a lil body work. Pros: Everything Cons: the way it likes to chug gas, to bad its not a 454 and manual trans |
