Very Rare Dodge Diplomat Station Wagon — Yes, I know I have very unusual and weird taste in cars, but what can you do? I love station wagons from this era and the Diplomat is no exception; a very rare vehicle now in the United States and surprisingly one that gets a lot of attention wherever it goes, even from a lot of young speedsters! Mine needs a lot of engine work due to sitting around for a few years, and then some cosmetic repairs. These cars featured Chrysler's infamous lean-burn system which didn't work properly and had to be moved around so the car would run. The wagon features an extensive list of luxury features, including full leather and electrics, and is a beautiful, comfortable wagon with ample room and looks to match. It runs on a V8 but this is nothing compared to what the police Diplomats had, so performance isn't the best, not that that matters in a tank like this! Pros: Luxury, full electrics, storage, leather, rare, etc. Cons: Lean-burn system, parts are way too expensive in Australia, needs heaps of work to be A1 again but it will all come in time. ![]() Looking for a Used Diplomat in your area?CarGurus has 2 nationwide Diplomat listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |
